  1. Yes those terminal blocks look more durable than the ones I have found. If your friend could provide the source it would be appreciated.
  2. Evil, can you post a link the part used to add screw terminals to your BBI-32. Thanks
  3. Leo Bodnar cards allow you to flash the firmware with unique numeric identifiers to prevent what is happening to your input cards.
  4. Very nice work!
  5. So many ways to skin this cat. Leo Bodnar Cards for switches, rotaries , potentiometers this allows you to use your switches with any module. There are other brands but Bodnar allows you to flash the firmware assigning a specific number to each card preventing Windows from randomly reassigning input profiles between cards. and DCSBios for Displays. Lots of threads to be read here to get you started. You can use DCSBios for switches but it locks you into a single aircraft for now.
  6. The mission editor is worth having a look at. It seems daunting at first but you can make all the missions you could ever want. Plus gain the entertainment of learning how use it, because it isn't intuitive...more like learning hieroglyphics. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Found the thread on Tapatalk. Can't stand the new forum. Will have to see what new is coming. Will send a copy of my working sketch via pm Monday. I have only worked with the F-18 DCSBios exports and The A-10 is the one I have seen that exports the caution panel in banks of data. The F-18 uses individually addressable light locations and they are lit by using the 7219 matrix x/y positions for up to 64 possible lights. You can run a pair off LEDs off each location in the matrix. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Your code post is a run on sentence. There is some code in your post I see and recognize from a prior thread on the A-10 caution panel. So the second question remains is this your actual code or something you are trying to use. I used a 7219 for my panel lights. Happy to help if your want Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Any chance you could post a screenshot of your Arduino IDE page. This is a bit difficult to read. Did you write this or are you trying to make another sketch work? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. We are kind of shooting in the dark. Is there a check trim notice at the bottom of the left DDI Could be control binding issues too. Could have a reversed axis or multiple axis bound to the same input. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Are you setting your takeoff trim for your actual takeoff weight? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Charley, I get the frustration, but.... please attach your logs as requested so it doesn't become "your" problem again. We are the beta testers and BN is trying to help but he can't see anything without your logs. BigNewy, Somehow DCS is being delivered to Government agencies using VR, so we can glean that if it works in VR for them it should work for us. Without disclosing confidential government info or being perceived as providing product endorsements could ED create a sticky that; 1. Describes the PC it would deliver to a customer, component by component that works in VR; 2. What settings need to be adjusted in Windows; 3. Oculus seems to be "direct" supported, but how would ED adjust the settings for a customer using Windows/Steam VR. 4. Provide a list of programs that have been shown to conflict with DCS and DCS in VR when installed. (IE: Seem to remember an issue someone had with a 3D mouse driver) ED has a min spec and recommended spec but what is the spec delivered to a customer? I realize there are quite a few videos out there trying to simplify these issues but many conflict with each other and are out of date. Thanks BN and NL for dealing with our frustrations and trying to help when you can. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. If you are having power issues you could try moving up to an Uno and attaching an external power supply. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. To me the more options the merrier, IF, an airframe can and has used the weapon , even proof of concept, cuz playing test pilot is fun too, then why not. But.... these should be added after the module has exited EA and had all features in the original specs implemented to prevent mission/module creep. If you don't like it you don't have to use it. 15. Bottom left rocker switch, I think it's gain? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Stang's reply is far from a dead end. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. RSMapper can help with with using on-off switches with only one electrical position. It's another option to solve challenges. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=205492 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Gear level - Bodnar BU0836A card- switch 2 positions Pretty sure this is the thread you want. Some talented folks in this treads group. LeCuvier is very capable in helping to understand this subject and you may find others have already posted the edit you need. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89226 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. While lesser known in the west, it is a single player aircraft, that doesn't have viewports by the feet of the pilot. The Ka-50 lends itself to how this game is played by the majority of players, single player on a single monitor.
  20. Congratulations, look forward to seeing your future progress. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. There is always interest in quality peripherals and an absence of new throttles for the F-16, F-14 and Harrier. I would like to have/purchase all three with a common sized base. Hall sensors and quality switches are high on many folks list of must haves. Can't wait to see what you create. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. I have taken a positive note with every developer in DCS and bought every module, some with no intent to ever fly, just to support the developers. That's the positive carrot I provide in this business relationship. The suggestion of "wiping" away reported bugs and missing features was prompted by the new CM. This is reminiscent of past problems. The work has been done to bring together the forum reports, in a single document, to make the job of responding as easy as possible. I hope Elmo takes to the time to read all of them and adopt the standard set by ED by adding to each original forum post linked; [reported], [not a bug], [Fixed]. I feel sorry for Elmo that the list has been allowed to grow as large as it has. I feel for him that the community bug tracker is a product Zeus and Prowler view as a negative. It doesn't change that each item has been reported by a customer and deserves to be looked at. Moving forward doesn't mean forgetting the past, as that is a guaranteed way to repeat history. 23. Not the best of approaches to begin your tenure and suggest erasing anything. Over the past week we have seen some poor behavior and before that bugs were shown to be deleted or moved to resolved only to be proven to remain unresolved. The community created this spreadsheet of reported bugs with links to forum reports. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4279093&postcount=1 And when ED mods this week asked about missing features this thread was created. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=285495. You are "new" and folks are willing to give you a chance. It would be helpful to agree that redoing what has already by been done by the community here on the forums will not be received as moving forward in a positive manner if you ask us to do it again. Familiarizing yourself and culling the data from what has been reported to present it to your bosses will go a long way in restoring trust. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Nope they Uber quietly moved the patch til next week, after creating the hype. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. I wasn't trying to rub salt. I still run a 1080ti for my DCS PC. It drives a 4K screen and a second screen for my front dash. The 20xx series brought the new RTX features which aren't used here and not much raw horsepower. I love VR, but DCS looks great on a 55" panel. Interested to see if the 3090 can pull off 3 - 4K panels. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
