Hi@all, do you have to talk down this hackneyed topic again here in the OH-58 Announcement Post? It's been known for a long time that the Gazelle's FM needs to be improved & PC recently said that they will do that after the release of the Kiowa. We have to rely on that for now. And if you have to discuss this topic again, please do so in the Gazelle Forum ... Thx

Musste schmunzeln als ich eben die Info gelesen habe... War doch irgendwie klar. Das es zumindest eine kleine Verschiebung geben wird. Aber passt doch wenn ED es dadurch erreicht Fehler aus zu merzen. Und eine qualitativ gut AI abzuliefern. Seid doch froh.

Hi, Ich empfinde das nicht als altmodisch. Man muss nicht jede neue Entwicklung gut heißen...und mir war es auch lieber wenn ich ne CD/DVD in der Hand gehalten habe. Fakt ist doch wenn ED von heut auf morgen dicht macht dann habe ich ein paar hundert Euro in den Sand gesetzt, und viele andere auch. Denn dann war's das mit dem Zocken. Das muss halt einem klar sein wenn man sich auf DCS World einlässt...Und auch diese EA Sache ist eine Entwicklung die man kritisch betrachten sollte, meiner Meinung nach. Aber auch hier gibt es natürlich auch eine 2te Seite der Medaille die auch wiederum dafür sprechen. Ist auch klar. Am Ende muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden ob er das (unterstützen) möchte oder nicht. Und diese Debatten findet man ja im Forum zu hauf... Für mich zumindest war nach der Mi-24 definitiv Schluss damit. Ich habe einfach keinen Bock mehr darauf. Zum anderen stehen soviele Module in meinem virtuellen Hangar die es Wert sind sich ernsthafter damit zu beschäftigen. Ständig was neues? Nein. Um die Kurve zur Kiowa dennoch zu bekommen und nicht völlig of topic zu werden: Als PC vor einigen Monaten immer wieder Bilder von der Kiowa gezeigt hatten, wo es schon einige Videos dazu gab (zum beispiel diese 2,3 Videos zum Kaltstart wo ein ehemaliger Kiowa Pilot es im Detail erklärt hat, ihr erinnert euch vielleicht?) und somit Staub aufgewirbelt wurde um dieses neue Modul...und jetzt seit Wochen wieder diese fast völlige Funkstille (außer auf discord mal hin und wieder). Ja das nervt und kotzt an. ABER wenn die das wirklich hin bekommen sollten es fertig & als qualitativ gutes Modul (nein wir möchten keine Gazelle 2.0...) zu präsentieren & sie dann eben nur noch Bugfixing betreiben müssten (was es am Anfang bestimmt wird) dann doch lieber so. Und das wäre mir dann wieder eher ein Kauf Wert. So das war mein persönliches Wort zum Sonntag (spät Abends...)

Hello@all, You attach the T-POD to station 2, 3, 5 or 6. You don't remove it and just right-click on station 4B. And then tries to bring the T-POD to this station, nothing happens. However, if you remove the T-POD at station 2, 3, 5 or 6 and then right-click on station 4B, you can attach the T-POD.

You are right, look at DCS M-2000C Flight Manual EN.pdf page 267. That there should be something like that for the Sparrwo was not known to me ...

For me personally, the grenade launcher is currently more of a just for fun weapon. With the 30mm, Rocketlauncher and the 7.62 & 12mm Gatlinguns I am better served and get better results. I also think that you have to practice more with it before you can use the grenade launcher effectively.

Hi@all, @AirJoker: Schaust du hier, Mi-8 Handbuch, Seite 408: (1) CONTROL HELPER. Activates control helper, if checkbox is checked (). In this case helper will smoothify abrupt and high-amplitude deflections of the cyclic, try to prevent rapid roll, pitch and yaw changes, compensate reactive moment of the tail rotor. Can be useful to new beginners.

This is another typical question ... which I find difficult to answer. Since it is also very dependent on personal taste / preference. Personally, I'm familiarizing myself with the A-10C (Tank Killer). Because I think this module is an absolute must have. And has matured over the years. But that also explains the steep learning curve. And since I'm an absolute Mi-24 fan, of course the Hind. But what is also worthwhile in any case and would recommend to anyone without hesitation would be the FA-18C, Mig-21, F-14. This is also something that takes a long time and is a lot of fun. Finally, I would recommend the Mi-8 without hesitation. Also very well documented and mature. And the M2k. I think the development of the module so far is simply great. And arouses curiosity for more. This is all my personal reference.

Guten Abend, Wo plaziert man am besten Bullseyes? Ich designe mir aktuell eine eigene, kleine Mission zusammen. Ich habe einen festes Airfield von dem ich meine Mission starte. Und im Gebirge hat sich der Gegner in einem kleinen Dorf verschanzt. Ich hätte nun vermutet für meine Koalition (Blue) am besten über meine Airbase, das Bullseye vom Gegner in diesem Fall über dem Dorf? Ist das neutrale Bullseye in DCS von Bedeutung? Ich habe schon im DCS Handbuch nachgeschlagen aber zu meinen Fragen keine Antwort erhalten. Auf youtube suche ich aktuell habe aber bisher noch keine Antwort auf meine Frage erhalten.

Hi@all, im englischen Handbuch der F/A-18, Seite 408 steht folgendes: The AIM-7 can be a deadly missile in close combat when combined with the radar ACM sub modes Stimmt das so? Ist die Sparrow in DCS im close combat so 'tötlich'? Gibt es da auch unterschiede zw. der F & M Version der Sparrow? Ich denke für den Nahkampf ist nach wie vor die Aim-9 zu bevorzugen? Wer hat hier Erfahrung und kann meine Fragen beantworten? Danke schon mal vorab.

Hello@all Since I am currently dealing more and more with the M2k (because I think it's just great how this module has evolved in the meantime!) I am of course also working with Chuck's guide. I noticed a small discrepancy: In the manual DCS M-2000C Flight Manual EN.pdf on page 81 it is written that the UHF frequency goes up to 339.975. In the table below, however, there is up to 339,970. In Chuck's guide on page 206 it says that the UHF frequency can be set up to 400.00. What's right now?
