  1. Agreed on GWDOPE's stuff, it's excellent! I'll plug my Hornet stuff for ya, too. The two Red Flags and Eastern Friendship are my latest ones, and ones I'm very proud of: (click the photos for links to the files)
  2. I'll start off by saying I have never dropped a JDAM in real life, let alone flown an aircraft capable of it. But from what I understand from one person who has, is that the programming of the weapon is in degrees, minutes/decimal minutes NOT minutes, seconds/decimal seconds. It's also a referenced a bit in this podcast: https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/afterburn-warbirdradiocom/e/78074378?autoplay=true at the 37:33 mark, where they talk about given targets in dd mm ss.ss and it was incompatible with their jet. It's Air Force, but the joint in JDAM would lend itself to inter-service use. Any chance this could be looked into a bit more? All of the radio traffic I've monitored in the last 20 years or so has target coordinates passed in degrees, minutes/decimal minutes. Cheers!
  3. Awesome, I hope you enjoy it!
  4. I’m sorry.. I just don’t have the time to update the mission to make it work with the latest changes to DCS. I do have version of this for the Hornet and Viper, if you’ve got those modules. I just don’t have time to update this mission for all modules, especially how I really don’t fly the M2K myself anymore.
  5. Yeah, it’s no longer supported and now removed. I’ll remove this thread in a bit, as well.
  6. The TACAN thing has been going on for a long time now (year, maybe?). Just power it off and on again, and it should be good to go.
  7. I think it's in reference to the in-game training tutorials. Quite good!
  8. So, playing around with it today... With Terrain Object Shadows On, I get 25 FPS on the ramp at Incirlik. Turning them to off I get a smooth 60 (with frame rates capped at 60).
  9. If that happens again, try the other hose. That's usually what's happening (plus, make sure you call ready pre-contact)
  10. And just a side note, incase folks didn't realize: there now is a portable TACAN unit that you can place in the Mission Editor (it's located under ground unit / Fortification). You can place it and then make it broadcast a TACAN signal anywhere you'd like.
  11. Yeah, there is one here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1K6buSi9O6JQbjpzuY_JV0JjsYI82mu3z?usp=sharing It's linked from the mission, but I guess I didn't put it on the download page. Standby and I'll include it. As for waypoints, the Hornet can only sequence the first 14 in SEQ1. So, if you have SEQ boxed, you'll only get to 14. Unbox SEQ to get waypoints beyond 14, or add them to SEQ2 and box that.
  12. Yeah, I've found the more statics you have, the less performance you get. I'm no software engineer, but I imagine all of those objects remain in memory as you're flying around, eating up resources. In the campaign I'm currently working on, I've got an option at mission start to remove various amounts of statics, which should help performance. I also haven't tried to see the difference between uncontrolled and static in terms of performance.
  13. As long as they are not blocking any of the taxiways It should be fine. I did that intentionally in order to keep the frame rates higher on computers that were not so good. The next plan for these missions to add a trigger which will add or subtract statics depending on what the player selects. That way high and PC users can have more Eye candy, and Low end PC users can have a better experience frame wise.
  14. You will need an additional trigger to turn the flag off after the sound has played. For example, if your radio menu turns flag 100 on to play the sound, add an additional "Switched Condition" trigger to say "time since flag 100 = 5 seconds (or however long your sound file is) > Flag 100 off.
  15. G.B., I do value your input greatly, and will miss it if you go. As for what this thread has turned into.... DCS means different things to different people. If you want to try and fly as close to real world tactics and procedures, pulling the paddle to get an advantage in nose position is not something you’re going to do, because it isn’t done. Period. And if the organizers of the tournament want to enforce that and call it a cheat, that’s their prerogative. There was an issue with how that was judged today, and someone was DQ’d as a result. There were apologies made, sh!t happens and it’s dealt with. But FFS, We’ve lost GB, who has contributed his real world knowledge and advice to this community for a long time - we are all poorer now that he’s gone. Look, mortalkombat, we get you’re a DCS gamer, and maybe you are good one, too. You have stated your opinion. If the organizers wanted to try to make things more real world, then that’s that. A call was blown. It happens. Next time will be different. If you’d like to organize your own tournament for charity, and g limit overrides are welcome, I’d say go for it. But right now you’re chasing away real world SMEs because you aren’t putting this to rest. Please stop.
  16. I did make an F-5 NTTR 4 mission campaign a long time ago.... I've been told there are some problems with it due to DCS changes. I don't have time to fix them, but if you're still interesting I can try and fix it next weekend. It's very rough, my earliest attempts at mission making.
