Odd. Once I swapped mission start for once it started working ok on my end.
-
Do you have the flag associated with a "MISSION START" trigger? If so, change it to "ONCE" and the condition be "time more than" "1". The "MISSION START" logic seemed to have changed with 2.5.6.

MISSION EDITOR OPTION TO CONTROL AI EXTERNAL LIGHTS
Sedlo replied to Avalanche110's topic in DCS Core Wish List
In the latest Open Beta, when I turn off my lights, my wingman will also turn off his nav lights. The flashing strobe and formation lights remain, but the nav lights now seem to turn off. I didn't think that worked before, so maybe we're getting closer. -

Are you on Tge latest Open Beta? -
FWIW, from looking at the early access manual, I think that at 3/4 of a mile it might be a bit difficult acknowledge the ball call via the radio menu/F5/Stennis menu.. It might just be easier to script it so that if the player is (mostly) wings level, and at 3/4 of a mile, looking forward that it will either happen automatically, or at least be bindable to a key or joystick button..

I am stopping work on DCS-BIOS for the foreseeable future
Sedlo replied to FSFIan's topic in Home Cockpits
Ian, I just discovered DCS BIOS just recently, and I have to tell you, the lua console has helped me so much in my mission making. Thank you for all your hard work over the years! And Blacklibrary, thank you for taking up this challenge! -

Two things... It seems you've got your MFUZ (manual fuze) set to tail or nose tail. It has to be set to off in order for the DUD cure to go away. Also noticed your laser code is not set, either. But I just tested a mission, and when my MFUZ is set to Nose or Nose/Tail, the DDI display is blank next to the MFUZ entry. Set it to OFF and the OFF text should appear. Now, as long as you have your EFUZ set properly, DUD should go away. -

FYI, this is posted in the Viper forum... To answer the question, I flew the mission in Eastern Friendship/Hornet and I'm not seeing the issue you described... I'm thinking that you should be dropping the LGB in CCRP in any event, with the target designated and the laser firing. -

How are they not working? Like not exploding, dropping or guiding? -
I bought this one and it works flawlessly with the TrackIR5 camera. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P8HFZN7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Cheaper, too.

Turn off wake turbulence... Seems to be a factor for me. My frames went from a solid 60 to 15 in a crowded area. Once I turned the wake turbulence off, it went back to normal.

I rolled by my Nvidia driver and it helped tremendously. I think it's a NVIDIA issue.

DCS Open Beta 2.5.6.45317 or later Required DOWNLOAD LINK: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3308674/ SITUATION: Last night, a Georgian armoury was attacked by Russian backed separatist guerrillas and a number of heavy weapons, including APCs, ZSU-23 Shilkas, were stolen. Intelligence suspects that the stolen armour is heading east in order to escape into South Ossetia. Your job is to provide close air support in the hunt for the stolen weapons. SITUATION: Last night, a Georgian armoury was attacked by Russian backed separatist guerrillas and a number of heavy weapons, including APCs, ZSU-23 Shilkas, were stolen. Intelligence suspects that the stolen armour is heading east in order to escape into South Ossetia. Your job is to provide close air support in the hunt for the stolen weapons. SCENARIO: This is a fictional, “what if”, scenario where Georgia had hurriedly joined NATO prior to the full scale Russian invasions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. NATO air power has begun staging at airbases around Georgia proper, and have commenced defensive air operations. Currently, NATO air forces are cleared to operate within the territorial boundaries of Georgia, and are cleared to conduct strikes to support NATO ground forces within Georgian Airspace. Last night, a Georgian armoury was attacked by Russian backed separatist guerillas, and a number of heavy weapons, including APCs, ZSU-23 Shilkas were stolen. Intelligence suspects that the stolen armour is heading east in order to escape into South Ossetia. This hostile group is believed to be made up of South Ossetian Guerillas, Russian SPETZNAZ forces and defecting Georgian Army personnel. Badger 1, a joint Canadian / Georgian convoy has been dispatched to locate the purloined equipment before these criminals can escape. MISSION: You are the lead pilot of Colt 5 flight of 2 F-14s based at Kutaisi Airbase in northern Georgia. Colt 5 is sitting alert ready to support NATO and Georgian ground forces. Rumour is that Badger 1 is hot on the tail of the stolen armour. The weather is not great, a low overcast of 10000ft will keep close air support right in the heart of the AAA and MANPAD envelope. We have already lost 2 NATO aircraft to hostile fire, so make sure to employ liberal use of flares when flying in proximity to hostile forces. ***************************************** COLT 5 - F-14 x 2 CAS Alert 5 COLT 9 - CF-18 x 2 CAS Alert 15 FORD 1 - M2000C x 2 CAP Airborne NTMR 4 - CF-18 x 2 CAP Alert 15 ****************************************** MISSION NOTES: 1. ATC communications in this mission are scripted - you do not need, and you should not use, the standard radio menu to contact ATC. 2. You can use the Radio Menu to give orders to your wingman on the RIO radio, and to get information from MAGIC on UHF. 3. This mission requires you to fly to, and over, waypoint 1 on departure, plus fly to, and over, waypoint 4 upon returning to base (UNLESS CLEARED TO TURN PRIOR BY MAGIC OR ATC) 4. This functionality of this mission's triggers and actions are dependant on you NOT CHANGING THE WEAPONS LOADOUT! Doing so may break your mission, and that sucks! 5. DO NOT STRAY INTO RUSSIAN OR SOUTH OSSETIAN TERRITORY! 6. If you do make it back to base, keep in mind that you are in a combat zone and are expected to fly the overhead break to land. This way you keep your speed up as much as possible in case you are shot at. Plus it looks f'n cool!

Hello! I am super excited to see this aircraft come to DCS! It also sounds like you've got a great team behind you, and I wish you all the success in the world! I'd like to put a request into the team, if you can have the radio parameters (COMM1_FREQ, COMM2_FREQ) exportable to a lua script, that would make for some amazing mission making abilities! This would let us, in the mission editor, easily make triggers happen based on what frequency a radio is on at the time. For example, we could play the voice over for contacting departure when one of the radios is tuned to departure frequency, play a different one when contacting AWACS, etc... If you have any questions, please let me know!
