Why don't the fields have the rotating green/white beacon.

Some planes are built for landing on "unimproved" fields. I landed and taxied a P15 in the grass beside a field.

I put the zoom on the side knob of the TWCS. I set the rudder pedals on the TWCS at reduced movement and use it on TO and landing to reduce "pilot induced oscillations".

Do to prevailing winds some small air fields only put ILS on one runway heading.

That start procedure is a little long, is there a list somewhere of what has to be done and in what order?

That's what I did, much, much easier. Plug them in assign the buttons to what you want and fly.

I don't blame the pilot, bust up a chopper and it will go on your record.

The other night I did a "fast mission", I first thing I see are 6 unfriendly planes heading at me in a nice tight group. I can barely hold my own in a one v one so I fired 4 unlocked aim 120s to distract them and got out of there. I have read that the aim 120 if launched without a lock will turn on it's own radar and start hunting. After action report says I got two kills, not bad for a shoot an scoot. :thumbup:

STT radar mode "Acquire the target on the radar in LRS or TWS modes Direct the TDC over the target symbol on the radar screen and lock the target* The radar should change to STT mode" Doesn't work for me, also I have never been able to get into STT mode.

Page two is real helpful, I'm still not up to speed on the radar.

That "USB Selective Suspend mode." was put in the software to save the batteries on laptops. They should have put in a off "switch" for desktops.

Right shift +home will start both engines, one at a time. Watch your gauges.
