  1. C-123, two engines. Looks like a half size C130
  2. C123, it's like a half size C130. Think "Air America" in Nam.
  3. A fixed wing transport plane would be more useful.
  4. Make it so a player can go directly into a ground unit like you can a airplane. Instead of having to haul the parts and build the ground unit.
  5. No, it's called I-racing
  6. I would like to climb out of the plane, jump in a jeep and drive to the OC, have a drink and tell lies about my mad flying skills.
  7. Maybe a small red/blue circle to ID the planes at a distance. Like a "O" Don't need labels, they just clutter up the screen.
  8. The C130 was designed for STOL. It can be equipped with booster rockets for short take off.
  9. Just leaning how to transport troops, do the troops need a way point at the place you upload them? On my little test mission I picked up a guy at one end of runway and dropped him off at the other end and he ran all the way back to the pickup point.
  10. fog of battle
  11. In RL there is a hook up crew to guide you onto the launcher and make the hook up. make it so.
  12. You get a "kill" when the plane is shot down, no bonus points for the driver.
  13. A10c is nice plane to fly and carries big variety of weapons, it is very forgiving on landing, a ham fisted driver like me can bounce it down the runway and not hurt anything and it also has a short roll out after touchdown. Only problem is cockpit graphics, the buttons on the CDU and UFC are washed out and hard to read, also the marks on the knobs.
  14. You don't shoot pilots in a chute, you let them land so the ground troops can shoot them.
  15. C123.
  16. techross, what skin did you load?
  17. Telling stories is what pilots do when not flying, it's traditional.
  18. You can feel the plane bounce a little when the bombs are loaded.
  19. The controls are synchronized, when the PIC moves a switch the switch on the co-pilot aircraft also moves. As I said before, only one person is in control at a time.
  20. It seems that conflicting commands between the pilot and co-pilot is a problem. In RL the pilot in command PIC decides who is flying the aircraft. So what about a toggle command line (key bind) that lets the PIC or instructor decide who is in control of the aircraft, then there will be no conflicts. As in "I have the plane". It could be set in preflight as to who will be the PIC.
  21. multicrew would be good for training, having a live instructor that can take control or correct the student when they make a mistake, not like the automated "instructor" we now have that does not correct a mistake and then falls asleep.
  22. I use a head tracker and also have the "bobble head" problem, so I have a switch that will toggle freeze/unfreeze the head movement.
  23. I'd rather have the CH-47. Moving troops and equipment is important to winning.
