I built a simple mission to practice bombing, i put some trucks alongside a road so I could find them easily. There is a lot of civilian trucks, buses and vans moving on this road, I did not put them there, they just showed up and they all had blue roofs. So I thought we already civilians in the simulation.

CH-47 Chinook because the blue side doesn't have a heavy lift helicopter.

Happened to me last night on MP, F-15, sorry I don't remember which field or hanger I was at.

We could use a flyable small fixed wing transport for MP, a Fairchild C-123 would be nice. It doesn't have to be fancy, just workable.

I think that list is in the manual.

I got my fps down to 39, the select role screen is still frozen, this is only in open beta not stable 2.5

DCS world "stable" works ok, but DCS openbeta MP freezes at the select role screen, mouse moves but clicks have no effect, after a while the screen goes black and I have to Ctrl+Alt+Delete to get out, this started after last update.

Started yesterday the 12th, logging into MP, computer lock up when in "pick role" screen or just goes black, have to ctri+alt+delete to reboot, Tried different servers, no good. Game ran OK until last night. Single player seems to be working OK.

My T16000m hotas is working OK.

I only have one on/off switch for PTT, which position should set it for, up, down, etc?

In the training missions the instructor never corrects you when you make a mistake. Just leaves you hanging. My real life instructor would not do that, one time I was too high and too fast on final, and he said, "are you going to land this thing?" "ah no" said I, "then get back in the pattern and make another approach" he replied.

The server I been on very few use the radio, it's more like a disorganized gang fight, find where the action is and fly there.

Check the windows USB controls, there is a switch in there that allows windows to shut off some USB ports if there is a overload or something. * disclaimer, I am not a computer geek.

Problem was in the drivers, uninstalled, reinstalled drivers, now all is good. Happy in the land of pixel airplanes.

That's the problem, the part of the page/window where you name them MFD 3 or MFD 4 is missing. I had hard time explaining that to Thrustmaster, had to send them a photo of the screen. Everything worked fine when I first hooked up the MFD's. Only later when I tried to add MFD 3 did I find the problem. When I plugged in MFD 3 the program called it MFD 1, so I had two MFD 1's and one MFD 2 and no way to change them.

I'm trying to add a third MFD to use with the A-10c and as you know the A-10 module grays out MFD 1 and 2 for it's own use. when I plugged in the third MFD it listed as number one also and is grayed out. When I tried to change it half of the test page was missing. I seems the main problem is ( start> TM> control panel> game controller> properties> test page ), on the test page the joy stick and throttle ( TM T16000 HOTAS ) are OK but all three MFD's have the upper half of the test page missing and I cannot change the third MFD to number three, it is stuck on number one. john.:confused:

never mind, I did it the old way, went into files and moved them by hand.

Just installed 2.5 open beta, what is the easiest/ best way to transfer my control setting from 1.8 to 2.5 ? Or do I have to redo everything, I have joystick, throttle, and 2 mfd's.

Is the server person vs person or only is it person vs AI? I looked at the website but didn't see anything about it.

I lock the target and get the square target box in the hud. Sometimes as I close with the target the target box starts to blink and then disappears from the hud and from the radar screen. Question is, what happened? Was the target landing, shot down, augured, radar error on my part?:confused:
