Performance issue after looking the F10 map
Loukuins replied to Colos1357's topic in Game Performance Bugs
That's weird, when I look at my VRAM usage it's not maxed out the game is telling me that he is only using like 75% when I have the issue, I changed from 8GB VRAM GPU to a 12GB VRAM GPU and the issue is still here, the FPS impact is causing me to lose from 20 - 120fps, if I catch the issue fast it's only a 20fps hit, but with time it gets worse and worse. This is not a VRAM issue IMHO but a F10 map issue because before on much older hardware it wasn't causing any issue -
Very nice, it seems that the autopilot standby switch should be moving a lot more (at least if you want to be close to a Modernized F1 (CT/CR/EQ))

The Iraqi docs were lost AFAIK, also it uses French tech that is still classified, don't expect this anytime soon.

Performance issue after looking the F10 map
Loukuins replied to Colos1357's topic in Game Performance Bugs
It's really weird, because DCS uses DX11 that handles VRAM and cannot really use too much VRAM. There is a big issue with the F10 map and how VRAM is being handled, I mean it's an issue since 2018 since the release of DCS 2.5.0 -

You see, nobody cares, they will never care because the core of the game is a mess they will never improve (I'm talking about graphics or new features) -

Using this mod can't help me, I'm on 2D desktop, a friend of mine have the issue aswell and he just installed DCS on my PC for the first time -
There is no official discord from Aerges, some Devs are on the most popular ones for the DCS Mirage F1
-
No, the dev said they are in the coding phase with the cockpit done (From fausete on discord)

Performance issue after looking the F10 map

I have the same issue since 2022, been trying to tell the dev to fix it but nobody listened, I had this issue since DCS 2.5.8 on every map (but more on caucasus), changed PC since then, even with my high end rig I STILL have the same issue, sometime causing 100FPS LOSS!!! The only workaround I found, is to alt tab in and out of the game and after 2-10sec it will fix itself, it's really REALLY WEIRD. my PC: 5800X3D 64GB 3600MHz CL18 RTX 4070 Ti MX500 SSD Of course no issue on the rest of the game and everything. Fix ASAP -
This is how the Mirage F1M HUD looks like, it's made by Sextant Avionique who is using the Smart HUD
-
The 3D model overall is already done so I would say yeah end of Q1 2025 and not before sadly. :c
-
I have no idea, it depends on how it was implemented, I heard it was made by the same people who upgraded the KFIR and such
-
It will have an updated INS, aswell as an HUD (mix between Mirage and F/A-18), CCIP/CCRP feature thanks to a Cyrano IVM version with A2G designation, and proper digital mission computer, Data cartridge for upload of mission data into the computer, ALR-300VR2 RWR, Radios UHF BER 8752 with HAVE Quick II, AIM-9M support, Datalink (MIP, MTD/PDS), HOTAS control scheme, NVG Compatible Cockpit, and GPS.

I think it's because you ran a quick repair and not the longer one that check exactly each file and their content? (If you are not on steam of course)
-
Also better Radar screen and having a hud to properly defend yourself from other aircraft
-
From what I can read yes, all the low drag bombs needs to be dropped while pulling on the stick.

BAT120, BAP100, uses "special adaptators" so maybe those can be ruled out
