Give time for the devs to answer please
-
It seems that they didn't used the proper export for the skins and they are not compatible with MSAA

With what fausete said, and also how the aircraft is made you shouldn't need to apply any curve on your joystick since there is already a system in the aircraft that apply a curve in the aircraft, it's a mechanical relay that increase the sensibility of the flight controls (at around 1°30) just like a curve in your axis controls. It's called AMEDEE in the Mirage F1 so if you want the real feel of the aircraft you should remove your curve and use the one gave by the aircraft. (mechanically it's just some gears that offset a mouvement and so it increase the mouvement by the distance, this is VERY simplified and I hope I'm not wrong). On top of that you have a system that "fake" forces on the stick to give the pilot a feedback of the aircraft, and it has a set force by the amount of mouvement you make and can affect the feeling of the performances of the aircraft. It's very hard to simulate all of those systems that are a whole and cannot have some stuff removed or missing. So yeah you will increase the effect of each change on the flight controls if you add on top of the curve applied by the aircraft.

I mean sure you can do those stuff, that's what is beautiful with DCS, I was just giving what the paper said, enjoy man and I'm glad you can mimic MiG-21 with that.
-
I mean, the F1EE is already in that era, basically if you use the EE with the new RWR you are in the end of the 90s in terms of era, so it's very close to the M.
-
Yup French Air Force never used that ever in the Mirage F1, you need to be VERY gentle with the Landing, 300ft/mn 157knots (if above 11t), 135knots on touchdown with 8.7t
-
Be aware, the F1M is from 2002 with weapons from the 70-80s.
-
F1C had nothing to be able to use those weapons, basically, those weapons were ONLY used on the F1EQ-5 and F1EQ-6, no other version of the Mirage F1 carried those weapons during normal usage (There is a pic of a CR prototype with an Exocet, never used in service)
-
Yup you're right, thanks for pointing that out mate
-
They are working on it as we speak, this take time to have proper template.

From what I can read, the F1C had only one strobe light to the bottom of the frame 17 of the fuselage, flashing at 45Hz. (45 flash per minute). CT works the same with one added on top, the one on top is situated on the equipment bay door with the same 45Hz flash. Both on the F1C and CT, when only using the Strobe light switch to the max it makes all lights (strobe and nav light) to flash. (I still didn't found any paper that talk about the colours)

After skin update, some "Fictional" skins are missing
Loukuins replied to Bremspropeller's topic in Bugs and Problems
Since the external model overall, all user based skins needs to be updated. -
The only version you will be able to fly is : MIrage F1CE (Basically the F1C from the 70s, the layout is just a tiny bit different from the F1C) Mirage F1EE (A Modernised export variant who isn't, the version you have is from the late 90s with almost everything from the 70s, except a INS from the early 80s and a 90s RWR and a refueling probe, the same as the Super Etendard, the real Modernised Export variant were more advanced with HUD and CCIP/CCRP capabilities but Spain wanted a cheaper version) Mirage F1BE (A CE but with 2 seats) Mirage F1M (A Spanish made modernisation of the aircraft (both CE and EE), with CCRP/CCIP capabilities, the radar stay the same, with a very similar RWR of the EE, not any new weapons are added) Basically the weapon are almost the same on every variant, all variant uses the CYRANO IVM (aka the latest version of the radar), right now we are still waiting on the release of the F1M variant as well as a overhall of the radar simulation and some addition of systems, the team is listening to the community and work hard to finish their product.

Hey, sorry for not being inactive, I don't have real proper performances data, but mostly on how to use and how it works. You might need to ask a Mirage F1 pilot that will know better.

This issue was fixed for a few month and came back, it's EXACTLY the same issue as before (aka 2021) and it's crazy they still can't understand and acknoledge stuff like that... I changed my PC completly and I have the same issue as back in 2021 when people told me it's my PC the issue.

Almost all the documentation is french, and France doesn't like to share aircraft documentation, even very old ones, but I can assure you there is everything to make a good radar simulation. Don't mind if you have more questions and I will try my best to answer those.

Be aware that the DATEP (CAG Numérique) is only a Auto Gain system that basically improves the search and lock on fonctions, it works in Search and Lock fonction it regulate at constant level the noise (i'm simplifying the stuff) during the recurrence of the radar. There is also a non "Numérique" (digital) one called CAG ECHO who only work when in lock. It's even more complicated and it's mostly about computing stuff. I really tried to simplify the thing and translating in the same time also didn't help so don't quote me on this. Also don't worry, the devs have everything to make a very accurate simulation of the thing, it's just VERY complicated and need a lot of work to simulate as you need to make a lot of stuff that doesn't exist in DCS at least this is my understanding.

This is from the CZ manual out there, you can see that HYD 2 should not impact those systems, there is some differences in the hydraulic systems on other version but nothing that will change the behavior of the systems.
-
The issue is that they are Spanish, they are making aircraft so they can have SME and understand the documentation for the aircraft.
-
This is a spanish team, I don't understand why asking for a UK/FR aircraft, also they already announced their next product, they have a couple of years of work ahead with finishing the current versions of the F1, making the F1M, and then they will move on their next product...

Very high "PRESENT" frametime temporaly
Loukuins replied to Loukuins's topic in Game Performance Bugs
This issue is still present, I can't post any log as nothing is written here, I can show a track when I can, please we need this to be fixed, this kill my experience making me lose 120FPS !!!!! -
Regular FPS drops when looking at the ground on Caucasus
Loukuins replied to IRRE_Schwarzy's topic in Game Performance Bugs
Had this issue since 2.7.0 on 2 different rig, I had no issues for a while until the release of the F-4E, when this occurs I lose between 80-125fps, this is VERY annoying, the only thing that show the issue is present it looking at my GPU Power usage, when the issue is here my GPU is at 80-90W instead of the 250W meaning that something is wrong. This happened on 2 DIFFERENT PC so it's not a HARDWARE issue.- 28 replies

KRAP I keep burning out hot starting engine on cold start
Loukuins replied to DmitriKozlowsky's topic in DCS: Mirage F1
I got some pic of how it looks in the inside of the starter of the ATAR 9K50, if you're interested
