  1. Fell off the deck in an F-14 when it turned in a multiplayer server. Wheel brakes were on. Jet slid off backwards when the carrier turned left. Jet was parked on edge of flight deck and had not moved yet.
  2. I haven't had this happen with the hornet that I can remember, but I will cross-post.
  3. If you are parked on the edge of the flight deck it is possible to fall off the Stennis when it turns. Parking break was locked. Carrier made left 90 degree turn. It was setup up for a left-hand race track. Speed, not sure, but in the 20 to 25 knot range. Multi-player mission. Have not tried to replicate in single-player.
  4. Link-16 is frequency hopping. TACAN is sacrosanct to the Navy. I think there's another update due on frequency management of Link-16. https://www.northropgrumman.com/Capabilities/DataLinkProcessingAndManagement/Documents/Understanding_Voice%2BData_Link_Networking.pdf
  5. Thanks. The advice to paste the clipboard into a text editor and get rid of the initial spaces or in the case it was ** ; worked. I have some aliases setup on the keywords so I'd rather avoid the reset, but I'll try to remember that for the next time.
  6. Version 2.5.9 appers to have an issue with the Keyword list that is copied to the clipboard when you click "Finish" on the KEYWORDS tab of the configuration interface. When I paste in the new comments, VoiceAttack pops an error dialog stating "Multipart commands cannot contain any blank entries. Please remove any blank entries."
  7. Forgot that detail. MGRS and USNG (US National Grid) are the same. Select the USNG radio button.
  8. I like this conversion tool. https://www.ngs.noaa.gov/NCAT/
  9. This is a known issue. The work around is to use the air cart on the ground crew menu and strat the Hornet the same way you start and F5. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  10. If you only had an exterior view, your pilot model was an ex-human. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  11. Not jumping into the discussion... Aircrew interviews has posted an interviewa real life Tomcat driver who flew F-5s and F-16s as well. You might find it interesting. Enjoy. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  12. A purely random time delay that is too long is a future bug report. A time delay due to deck activity and a pitching deck with some reasonable variation would be awesome. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  13. BRA is relative to your cursor or track Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  14. The azimuth angle hash mark units are constant and don't change with azimuth scan limits or in STT. The range scale is the only setting that is dynamic in STT. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  15. Normally, clearing data and the app cache or re-installing fixes the problem. Otherwise, I recommend trying to send a crash report or contacting the author.
  16. The Android app or the windows server?
  17. That's a different problem and can be persnickety. Just to keep the thread pure, I'll PM you the probable way to fix the issue.
  18. All I did other than check the box was make sure that the UFC was powered on in a spawned Hornet. I used the 'ready on the ramp' instant action mission to test it. I use dcs_updater on the command line to update so I don't have dcs.beta active, but that shouldn't make any difference. Your export.lua file for the installation you're running should contain "local dwlfs=require('lfs'); dofile(dwlfs.writedir()..[[scripts\DEVICEWORKS\DEVICEWORKS.lua]])" on the first list and you should have the DEVICEWORKS script installed in your save games script directory.
  19. See edited post.
  20. I've been meaning to try this myself. I'm downloading the server app now. Have you allowed the server through the windows firewall? EDIT: Just gave it the first try and it seems to be working. There's a check box in the server app that puts something in your export.lua file. Do you have that box checked?

    AIM-7E???

You are correct. However, please include all off subject posts if you're going to chastise. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

    AIM-7E???

While I assume all announced release dates are at best hopeful educated guess until they happen. ED has stated in youtube comments that the F-16 is planned in some way shape or form for 2019. Of course, I can't find the screen capture comment now, so maybe that's a retraction.

    AIM-7E???

I believe not. The Hornet uses AIM-7Fs, AIM-7Ms, and AIM-7MHs only to the best of my memory and from what I could quickly check. These are all preferable over the E. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

    AIM-7E???

Good call on the F-4. I wasn't thinking about AI aircraft. That would also explain the textures. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

    AIM-7E???

I can only guess that it's because the F-14 and F-16 are expected in 2019. I suspect no one from ED is looking at the forums until after the new year starts. The AIM-7E, apparently, was the most massively produced variant and used on both the F-14 and F-16.
