  1. This. Everyone has to be on the same altimeter setting. Could you imagine the possible chaos? Airport elevation can be found on the charts. Ground clearance (if an issue) can be found on the charts. Eagle: what makes you say that AA uses QFE? It just does not make sense, at all.
  2. It should work fine. Whether it'll perform good.. That's another question. And by that I mean that a yoke is designed for an airliner or GA-type aircraft, not a combat oriented highly manouevrable (can never get that word spelt right...) airframe.
  3. AGM-62 = predecessor of the AGM-65. Don't know why you'd still use it :P AGM-119 = anti-ship. Only certified for the F-16 (at least according to wiki). So it doesn't carry it.
  4. MAV = SOI TMS DWN SHORT for ground stabilization. TMS UP SHORT to lock.
  5. Sure that's possible. If the pot is still working.
  6. Been there, done that ;) Duct tape.
  7. Viel besser mein freund! Don't know if/when it'll be modelled, also where the switch is. Is it possible to find a Su-25 operating manual or something on the interwebz?
  8. Count me in for that as well!
  9. Just to be sure: you did put it in the correct version's folder yes?
  10. Soooo... what's the question?
  11. What version of DCS? Have you used the EMC in that version?
  12. Line 58 Gui -> GUI Line 74 One } too many. Should be: ED_A10C_CMSC = { x = 6701; y = 1080; width = 154; height = 42; }
  13. Yep right on all accounts ;) That's why there is mic switch down (or aft.. my brain is failing at the moment lol) :)
  14. SA-13's radar is only there for target acquisition and range IIRC.. It doen't actually have any part in guiding the missile as far as I know.
  15. Guess what we're stuck with ;)
  16. From the flight manual: (p.403) " AUTO When in automatic mode: The system will automatically select the best chaff/flare program and initiate and stop the program. o The CMS will select the best ECM program based on the radar detected o The MWS will detect threats, select the best program and automatically release countermeasures."
  17. The only difference from SEMI and AUTO (IIRC) is that AUTO (as the name suggests) automatically initiates the program (you have to stop it yourself!). I NEVER use SEMI or AUTO. For the following reason: if there is a radar signature present (i.e. displayed on the RWR), and an IR sam is shot at you, it will fire chaff... Not exactly the thing you want to happen :P
  18. Not implemented, but yes. That's what a hot mic is :)
  19. True. But you can still see the difference in the radiomenu from VHF/Intercom.
  20. You can try it yourself. If you hit a mic switch, the radio dialog comes up with at the top which radio you are transmitting on :)
  21. MIC switch FWD (on the hotas) let's you transmit on the radio that is selected on the intercom control panel. Normally in flight this would be VHF. But if you want to talk to your groundcrew when you've got engines running, you set the rotator dial to INT, and with the MIC FWD switch you talk to your groundcrew. So basically the rotary selector dial is the selector for which radio is assigned to MIC switch FWD on the HOTAS. Hope this helps :)
  22. Yes I agree Sobek, I thought it was modelled as wel??
