Yes my trackir when I was wearing the trackcap was getting difficulties from my glasses. When I had my curtains open and during certain time's (sun angle you know) I could see my glasses in the reception of the trackir. Since switching to the trackclip pro: no problems.

Your SPI probably still was on the waypoint you described (starting point of the tank). After you have the tank locked in your TGP, set your SPI. Then you should get correct aiming guidance.
