I've got another question about the release.. Indiegogo backers were to get the DVD at some level of pledgement correct? How is that going to be? I.e. will they also receive a serial "by e-mail" (for all intent and purpose) and have a download version accessible as well as getting the DVD at some point?

Agreed with Abburo. If you have any electrics knowledge, you can even pull power from your current pc's power supply. The old molex connector (http://cdn.overclock.net/3/3c/350x700px-LL-3caee271_molex_extension.jpeg) comes in handy for that. I use one of those from my PSU to power my AHCP led's.
