The materials had already been tested for 2 sided materials. Sadly, this does not work. I have tried both of these, and sadly neither of these work either. I wonder if I will have to re-make the external model animations all over again... :( -

This would mean any method I suppose? Such as you asking a museum for a private tour of an aircraft to 3D scan for photogrammetry that the manufacturer provided? (kind of like Draken International)

Further testing concludes that you are definitely able to load up your own MP mission and join the Cat just fine. But memory seems to be ignored once you go into any new server.

Sure there are, there are definitely things preventing this. AFAIK, this is what has to be appropriately done: Form/"declare" the official team Need a coder experienced with DCS for at least 3-5 years. So far, this requirement is a bit undetermined because their main coder(s) have left the team. Need to request a license from ED along of SDK Need to request a license from the manufacturer of the A-4 Skyhawk, Douglas. This is so far what has been done: Need a 3D artist Need proof of concept And, I do not speak for the Community A-4E developers on this, but the team I believe does not currently share any interest in becoming a 3rd party. As much as I love how good the A-4E mod is and its systems for being free itself, the dream of it becoming an unofficially supported module is far from being achieved. Deka is a majority/all Chinese team. I do not speak for the team there, but they likely created the 3D models for an AI assets pack as a way to become a 3rd party so that they would later come with the J-11A and JF-17 modules.

From what I've found, I am able to host my own MP server with an F-14B. The pilot takes time to load in, but I am able to get in and have people in my RIO seat. Doing the same for RIO takes very long to load, but I still get in. For now, this seems to be the only workaround besides getting the elite gaming rig.

Hey Nick, are you guys going to investigate the cause of the issues with loading time? You would really make me happy, and surely many of us if you were possibly able to fix or greatly improve on it in the next update. No 100% guarantee, but my fingers are crossed. :)

Hi. I have checked, and the object properties of Back-face Culling was not enabled at all. I have attempted enabling it and disabling it with some tests, and the issue still remains. -
I just hope that the outcome of this thread imposed by HB is experimentation and/or research to find the extrema of specifications needed to run the Tomcat. My fingers are crossed that they can find some way to make it load faster via. making the texture maps smaller or simplifying the scripts loading.

Not sure what exactly you are referring to. If you mean the ED user files section, then yes, all files and uploads themselves have to be approved by ED. I think this is meant to avoid anything maliciously being allowed to download onto your PC or DCS, but so far (with my experience) it's just waiting time.

Call me a heretic, but I miss HB's F-14B first artwork. (At least shown on ralfidude's stream) It was a loading window picture of an F-14B with afterburners taking off, wings full out and and I believe flaps fully deployed in the dusk setting.

I attempted to lower textures to lowest setting of Low, and I could not find any noticeable difference at all.

To be fair, some of us do not have the ultimate elite top of the line rigs. I appreciate the hand, blood and sweat work done here but it hurts with the MP experience. I will most likely overclock my AMD Ryzen to achieve better performance or wait further updates for some form of a "downgrade." I did test texture settings to see if the textures were a big issue. I did not see any noticeable change in loading times. So either the texture maps themselves are too big or maybe a fault of JESTER AI loading in MP being turned off via. RIO interaction.
