    Awesome work! I had thought they died until a month back or so when I noticed there is an I-16 subforum quite chatty with developers. :)
  2. It may be an Anti-Virus issue. Do you have something trying to delete the files?
  3. I've noticed that there is actually code for the Forrestal carrier and textures. I think they're still finishing the systems/model aspect of it.
  4. I tried changing views from Orthographic to Perspective and seeing if the issue also lied in the viewport. As far as I have messed with it, it does not. I also attempted checking the properties of the major parent (which is the fuselage in this case, everything is linked to it and falls under vice versa respective mesh parts) to see if there were visibility changes, which there were not.

  10. Checked and investigated further. Backface culling was not the issue. The materials are also correctly set and always have been. There are no stray vertices or faces floating around in the model. Upon messing with the AI of it, I noticed that the custom category armament it is (ie. fuel tanks) do not disappear and is only linked to the external model itself.
  11. SRS is a must-have for any semi-serious comms on MP servers. There's also a mission generator I believe, worth checking out.
  12. Check the F-14B.lua file in CoreMods/aircraft/F14/Entry directory for your DCS installation path for this line: Add "Russia" to it, and that should allow you to select it for Russia. However, this will break your IC. Hope I was able to help!

  15. Which skins? The liveries are somewhat WIP, so the "seam clipping" (what I call it) with texturing separating with the colors is still an issue being worked on.

  18. Base your turns off of the AoA indicator on the left side of HUD. As long as you don't pass 15 units, you'll be fine. The shaking sounds are a big indicating warning that you're encountering the "rip wing" zone. Also, it is dependent on your speed. Anything 430+ knots I have found is a good definite rip if you pull too much alpha.

  20. Careful here, using logic may wind up causing more anger. :book: A large portion of the community who own the F-14 agree with the standing belief that the sounds were done well on it. This is just nothing but the usual banter and expectations not aligned to theirs.

  22. What you are implying is that its still worth arguing over a mere percent of users on sounds. I am very satisfied with the module, but that does not mean I am not allowed to express my feelings here. I just talk way too much and get annoying. :D

  24. Hey guys. Some videos will be out soon, and more progress on the MiG-23UB cockpit. Work is being done so far on high polyizing on the pit and liveries.
