  1. This is great, now looks more like WWII London, what about ruins in Caen?
  2. And it used to work properly, this last update introduced the problem.
  3. Reversing the axis its a lame solution, because inside the plane the trim wheel will move to the opposite direction, and also the trim indicator gauge would be showing the opposite of what you are doing. I have a trim wheel and you ,move it forward to nose down, trim wheel on the plane moves correctly, indicator moves correctly, but stick (Rhino FFB) starts to move backwards lifting the nose instead of lowering the nose. Corsair developers should fix this. null
  4. He only want to stir up controversy to get views, I don't even watch his videos anymore, find them pretty annoying.
  5. This is very dependent of your setup, I have a Virpil with a Rhino FFB base with 20cm extension and it does not feel twitchy at all, feels pretty good. Agree the engine model is too fragile, I don't want unrealistic indestructible motor, but something more realistic. Also a real warbird pilot (have not flown the Corsair though)
  6. Tested the Corsair no problems here, I used the chart for power settings, so then I try to to overheat it, what I found is that it can go from normal temp to overheat very quickly, and from overheat seize the motor even more quick, like a water cooled engine that lost all coolant, @-Rudel- maybe just reduce the sensitivity of how quick it overheats or seizes just a tiny bit? Corsair has a big motor , but as soon as it hits the redline for temperature it seizes almost instantly, before seizing it should hesitate a bit or loose some power. Apart from this, I think its a great module.
  7. La7 can be flown against all the axis planes, you can add Russian lend lease A20s, Spitfires, and P47s, use the Kola and Germany maps (I know modern but you can remove objects in mission editor). I am a bit disappointed that third party planes does not have ED damage model, they have a simplified damage model, hope this changes. Some assets for PTO can also be used in ETO and be correct historically.
  8. I hope not, DCS is meant to be high fidelity, not a gamey sim to please War Thunder mentality.
  9. I doubt a big radial engine like this would be so fragile, seems overdone.
  10. Civ traffic set to none Terrain shadows set to none That made a difference for me in this map I also have a 5090 and a AMD 9800X3D
  11. Pretty disappointing is not a priority for ED
  12. Here is looking at it from the other side, have the planes, maps, WWII assets. Creator makes Mosquito campaign saying no WII assets required, instant turn off, I don't buy the campaign, don't want to shoot at modern Russian armor. No one works for free, assets pack is high quality, and not too expensive , which can give you hundreds of hrs of enjoyment. This hobby might seem expensive but the cost divided by the amount of hrs we use it, its one of the best bang for the buck hobbies.
  13. To me the movements look a bit jerky, unlike a plane. I fly real warbirds, aerobatics and do dogfight simulations, real life movements are smoother , with that being said , I have never tried a motion rig myself, would love to try one and hopefully like it. VR flight sim guy, I dont believe anything he says, everything is amazing awesome until the next thing comes out.
  14. Here is an example, I have an aviation YouTube channel, posted a video with a title created by me, first day I got the usual 3000 views. Asked chat GPT to create a title for my video, then I changed and that same video blew up with thousands of views. I have tried it for other stuff and it has been a disappointment.
  15. DCS warbirds are great IMHO, it has been the only sim that has given me some feel or realism, FFB with extension also helped, but one problem with DCS is that we always fly in calm air, there is no bumpy air or turbulence, low alt wind you can feel it but its like laminar wind, not bumpy at all. When I fly my warbird IRL and I have calm winds, it reminds me of how warbirds feel in DCS.
  16. Are you certain about this from inside information? To me all warbirds fly great, but find them a bit forgiving, you can get away with a very slow base to final and a steep bank, plane wont stall, landing and taking off in the 109 for sure has to be easier than how it was IRL, the modelling of the 109 landing gear is going to be improved according to a newsletter a few months ago. Have not tested the new FM for the Corsair yet
  17. Very disappointing its not a priority to fix this issue
  18. 20% I have an AMD 9800X3D and 64GB of DDR5 RAM, Can fly over Berlin, London or Paris at 90fps in VR, everything is very smooth even at low altitude. Settings are very high, great graphics but Terrain shadows off, which makes for very smooth flying at low altitude over dense forests or big cities
  19. I bought a 5090, but sold my 4090 for a lot of money, after almost 3 years of use. The performance increase in VR is definitely noticeable, worth the upgrade.
  20. For warbirds I think wake turbulence is spot on. I have experienced it many times in real life while chasing another warbird.
  21. I am also using it for the mission editor, how to create triggers , make things blow up, activate flights ect. Works very well
  22. Stop guessing, looking at videos, experimenting. Ask chat GPT DCS best settings for my computer, add your system and it will give you all the info, in my case it worked better than ever.
  23. The first beta version for the Corsair was bad. Try the newest one
  24. Which version of Beta you have? There was one that acted weird, this latest one is good. So if you change values here nothing happens? null
