I hope not, DCS is meant to be high fidelity, not a gamey sim to please War Thunder mentality.
-
I doubt a big radial engine like this would be so fragile, seems overdone.

Civ traffic set to none Terrain shadows set to none That made a difference for me in this map I also have a 5090 and a AMD 9800X3D

JU 88's continue to fly indefinitely after crew bails out

Pretty disappointing is not a priority for ED -
Here is looking at it from the other side, have the planes, maps, WWII assets. Creator makes Mosquito campaign saying no WII assets required, instant turn off, I don't buy the campaign, don't want to shoot at modern Russian armor. No one works for free, assets pack is high quality, and not too expensive , which can give you hundreds of hrs of enjoyment. This hobby might seem expensive but the cost divided by the amount of hrs we use it, its one of the best bang for the buck hobbies.

To me the movements look a bit jerky, unlike a plane. I fly real warbirds, aerobatics and do dogfight simulations, real life movements are smoother , with that being said , I have never tried a motion rig myself, would love to try one and hopefully like it. VR flight sim guy, I dont believe anything he says, everything is amazing awesome until the next thing comes out.

DCS WWII 1944 Kickstarter: A Tragedy in 3 Acts
motoadve replied to [HOUNDS] CptTrips's topic in Chit-Chat
Here is an example, I have an aviation YouTube channel, posted a video with a title created by me, first day I got the usual 3000 views. Asked chat GPT to create a title for my video, then I changed and that same video blew up with thousands of views. I have tried it for other stuff and it has been a disappointment. -
DCS warbirds are great IMHO, it has been the only sim that has given me some feel or realism, FFB with extension also helped, but one problem with DCS is that we always fly in calm air, there is no bumpy air or turbulence, low alt wind you can feel it but its like laminar wind, not bumpy at all. When I fly my warbird IRL and I have calm winds, it reminds me of how warbirds feel in DCS.
-
Are you certain about this from inside information? To me all warbirds fly great, but find them a bit forgiving, you can get away with a very slow base to final and a steep bank, plane wont stall, landing and taking off in the 109 for sure has to be easier than how it was IRL, the modelling of the 109 landing gear is going to be improved according to a newsletter a few months ago. Have not tested the new FM for the Corsair yet

Very disappointing its not a priority to fix this issue -
I ordered a RTX 5090 FE...what have I done?
motoadve replied to rapid's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
20% I have an AMD 9800X3D and 64GB of DDR5 RAM, Can fly over Berlin, London or Paris at 90fps in VR, everything is very smooth even at low altitude. Settings are very high, great graphics but Terrain shadows off, which makes for very smooth flying at low altitude over dense forests or big cities -

I bought a 5090, but sold my 4090 for a lot of money, after almost 3 years of use. The performance increase in VR is definitely noticeable, worth the upgrade. -
For warbirds I think wake turbulence is spot on. I have experienced it many times in real life while chasing another warbird.

The first beta version for the Corsair was bad. Try the newest one
-
Which version of Beta you have? There was one that acted weird, this latest one is good. So if you change values here nothing happens? null
-
Simshaker latest Beta has the Corsair

I copied the P47 profile in Telem for the Corsair and works great
-
Yes and when the Hellcat comes out also works since it saw action along the Corsair. There is a very nice Tirpitz, but I dont know if it can be used in a Payware campaign. The Kola map works perfect for missions in the Norwegian fiords since they are not populated, you cannot tell is modern map. I am not an expert at all but made a mission about the Corsair support of the attack on the Tirpitz. Would love to have a campaign made by Reflected about the Corsair in this area. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3345406/ You can download the Tirpitz and other WWII naval assets here. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/4ekee6vanq1wobis3aeiv/WWII-DKM-German-Naval-Squadron.zip?rlkey=8s6v1axe3f9ab4k2zxlmm1q03&e=1&dl=0

I have the same one, really like it. Where can I get the mod for the trim speed on the P47?
-
Fuel pressure needle can wobble a bit too IMG_1083.MOV
-
All warbirds in DCS the trim moves too much too quick. Also the Corsair How do I de tune the axis? I tried saturation, it slows it down, but you loose travel, so the trim wont go all the way to its travel. Any other options?
