  1. Thanks for the confirmation guys!
  2. I click on the mouse wheel but nothing changes. What exactly needs to be set up for this to work...thanks. I have zoom working with a stick button but it's not a controllable zoom.
  3. OK...thanks all for your feed back.
  4. Thanks, I've a question. Does the file get installed first to the original folder then cut and pasted into the redirected folder? Also I'm wondering which .lua file has the path for sending the file to the saved games folder, it's easily changeable?
  5. Is there a way to prevent the saving of multiplayer .trk files to your drive or possibly change the destination folder? Thank you.
  6. I've been using zoom and the newer spy glass zoom from day 1, but I'll definitely give this a go...thanks. Would you know the purpose of the HMD [left or right or both eyes] setting is all about, found in VR options?
  7. Thanks for the info, tried turning off the ICS and all the others, no affect on sound control for the low alt. Pressing the auto buttons will turn sound and HUD warning off. Guess there is no vol. control:cry:
  8. Yes this I understand, it's vol. control I'm looking for.
  9. And I suppose if the mission called for a gamma setting of 1.7...everyone's 1.7 would look different anyway. I like it to be dark at the appropriate time and dusk to be dusk. I look at the mission clock and adjust to what I think it should look like...gotta be a better way.
  10. When flying with others in a night mission, the gamma setting is allowing for everyone to have different degrees of darkness. Is there a way to force calibrate everyone to see the same degree of darkness to keep things realistically fair? Thank you.
  11. Thanks, I work with the radar alt a lot. It's the tone vol. I'm looking to adjust.
  12. Is it variable zoom?
  13. Hopefully Santi871 will have a non-virus alert version for download soon.
  14. I see where the volume controls are for other tones but is there a separate volume control for the low altitude warning that also flashes on the HUD? Thank you.
  15. Are you running DCS stable or beta? Have you tried both?
  16. Thanks!
  17. Just trying to get an idea as to the time frame.
  18. The new super carrier available for pre-sale requires 2.5.6, currently we are on 2.5.5. Does this mean 2.5.6 will be available before the release of the super carrier? Thank you.
  19. Also you can open Oculus Home and click on live support and chat with a tech. If I think of anything else I'll post back in the mean time good luck and let us know how it turns out:pilotfly:
  20. The 90 and 45 fps on the 2 screens is what I see as well. ASW can affect what fps you will run at...nothing to do with your no start issue. I'm thinking about your OVRSLibrary in Services app, if you're having no issue with other Oculus apps I would think you are OK there. Also Windows Services controls Oculus services check it out in Windows services just in case. I believe you mentioned repair and reinstall was done...I'll give more thought. Very strange! Reinstall the drivers for this device for a Code 18 is the usual approach, do some reading on this search before proceeding, as an example: https://www.error.info/windows/driver-18.html
  21. Thanks, looks very interesting:thumbup:
  22. Thanks for that, I fly mostly F-18...would those be the download user files on DCS, any titles come to mind?
  23. Exactly what are you clicking on to start DCS...is it a shortcut, if so open properties and confirm where it's pointing to. Have you tried clicking on the DCS.exe in the bin folder? What about antivirus? What a/v are you using, could be a permission issue. Check firewall for permission.
  24. Not sure what you are referring to, I'm talking more about the TCA [terminal control area]. I use all the nav tools to get where I want, WP input, TACAN, VOR etc, and as mentioned formulation speed/60=miles travelled per minute/into the distance you need to go=minutes to target [use cockpit stopwatch]. What I'm referring to is a more interactive ATC simulation and I'm happy to say so is DCS. Thanks for the input.
