Doesn't ATC control the airspace around airfields for fighter planes the same way they would do for commercial airlines? They space and stack to keep things safe.

Try running as administrator, DCS_updater.exe and DCS.exe and any shortcuts.

Thanks all for your assistance. When I changed location of the saved games folder it didn't get done properly. I deleted it and started again with a copy of the saved games folder, this time it did relocate as you described above. I'll do some testing and hope for the best...thanks again.

When I used the location tab to move the saved games folder...it moved the subfolder contents of the saved game folder to the new location in 2 separate folders, it didn't move it in the one saved games folder.. The problem isn't that all is working ok using a monitor, my saved games preferences are intact, it's the DCS Configuration Manager won't open in VR and when I uninstalled DCS Configuration Manager I still couldn't launch in VR. When I tried to reinstall DCS Configuration Manager a pop-up said I have to contact the software owner. I did a repair of DCS no help there.

Yes I was running out of SSD space on my c: drive, just recently picked up a 2T SSD...

If at some later date I want to move it again how would I do that because I don't see properties/location option available anymore since I moved it.

We read this week, the ATC implementation will be overhauled this year to offer a more realistic experience. As mentioned in my OP; in earlier years 'Inbound' vectored you to an initial intercept point to line up on final, not sure but I think there was also ATC telling you when to turn onto final from their vector. 'Request Azimuth' vectored you directly to the middle of the runway.

Pulling too many + or - G's will result in a black out or red out and I believe it used to and may still model accumulative fatigue in this manner.

Can I move the 'saved games' folder to another drive? Thank you.

I've discovered that I have the same 45fps lock that you do, even when I fly in areas I know I get a full 90fps like up at 45000 looking straight up. Don't know how long I've had this issue for but its been awhile. I've done a repair and have had updates since, also I've deleted the fxo and metashaders2 folders which I do as a course of action whenever I update. I'm running very smooth stutter free but would like to be able to use ingame shortcuts ASW 1-4. Did you find a fix?

Thanks for trying:thumbup: One other thing, I noticed that I'm locked in at 45fps even in areas where I know I get 90fps. I Tried OTT in auto in the 90 fps as well but still locked in at 45fps. How are you determining that you can go ingame from ASW 1-2-3 or 4th ASW option?

In DCS the shortcuts were bound to quick glance on the numpad. Is this the same for you?

How do you get oculus tray tool to work with hotkeys? I see the option but no joy. Thank you.

Just did another test, I cannot turn on ASW through the ingame keypad shortcuts as I once did. I need to first open Oculus Tray Tool then DCS...Oculus Home will then auto open. Can someone please confirm this.

I turned off file swap [virtual memory] in Windows 10 when I got 32gig, didn't need it. I feel it gave me some improvement as I no longer was disk caching, more than enough ram to hold everything.

Confirmed, it's caused by the sharpening turned on in the NVidia control panel.
