If you have a back up copy of your DCS install you can copy the different structures.

using VR: The water is improved now showing depth with sandy bottom near shore. All the cities and airfields now look spectacular at night. No more sky color banding at sunset/night. Not sure but weather many have been improved.

I was referring to the opposite. Using Logitech software I want to have 2 different mapped keyboard commands activate the same action in DCS.

Using mapping Logitech software I create a 'New Advanced Command' it works well. I have all my lights come on with 1 press and I can control the lighting on each. Getting back to: 'you can make 2 different inputs perform the same action...' How do you do this?

You can if you are putting them in saved games folder, this is the beauty of trying to use this as opposed to the actual DCS game directory. OVGME is a great tool for those files that can't be loaded from saved games folder.

I don't see the need to have a full screen mirror when in VR, I actually prefer 2.5.6 keeping the mouse locked/confined to game smaller screen window and not moving outside causing problems.

No, however I do raise the speed brake upon WoW.

I have a similar issue when creating a quick mission, to get around it I launch to fly from mission editor.

Using Oculus I find the lighting is amazing. Just finished an hour over PG 17:30/winter/partly cloudy, the lighting on the buildings, road, especially air fields are great improvement. I'm wondering if those who hate it are using monitors, there is a big difference? Using VR I find really works well with the new lighting. [gamma 1.3 day and night]

Did some tests...adding emerg. brake or hand brake to regular braking adds nothing to decreasing the stopping distance of regular brakes alone.

WOW...the stars are especially nice now that they are so easily seen even at the lowest gamma setting so that can't be it. Are you flying below a solid cloud layer?
