  2. Hi, is there a way to use an argument from a aircraft to animate a part of your own creation? I've made corail pods for the F1, and I'm trying to have the safety trap animated. The F1 has the chockes animated with the arg 844, so I would have the trap opening when the wheel chockes are visible. I set my animation with the rotation arg 844. But nothing happens. As my knowledge in coding is very poor, if someone can give me an example. Or must it be coded in the F1 dll file to work?

  10. Hi It would be cool, to have a kind of sandbox, where you can test lua file modifications without having to start DCS every time. Each time I modify something in the lua file of my "learning" model, like the light parameters (I'm test differents things like strobe controller and other), I have to open DCS. A sort of viewer like the EDM could help to spare time and loading time.
  11. Hi Is there any documation about the WOLALIGHT functions? Like the VariablePatternStrobe, or other. For the VariablePatternStroble, as far as I came, I discovered: 1 Flash, 2 Flash, 2 Flash long. Maybe there are other modes. Same for the Strobe controller, how many modes exists? And what difference between the modes?
  12. Hi I'm trying to have scratches on the glass material, but despite all my efforts, they won't appear in the EDM. The normal texture is right there, but nothing. Can someone help me? Material is set to glass in 3DS, I set the bump to 700%, which is visible in 3DS. But in EDM... See teh screen below. The glass is 2cm thick.
  13. found the solution, it seems that if you have another mod with a texture with the same name, it could be use those instead of the one in the folder of the CH53. I renamed the texture in my mod folder and it's good again
  14. I found the answer, DCS don't use neither constrains, nor locks from the link info. So I had to make it a different way as I thought.
  15. The args 276 and 277 are used to move forward / backward and left/right, and the problem is the same with arg 274 (up/down). It's about the fact that in EDM all the parts moves together, as in 3DSMAX, you can see that the base of the cylinder stays in place. Does it come from the method. I use the point helper to set the arg animations, and all the parts are then linked together.

  18. I made several tests to come to this conclusion. I think, it comes effectively from the lua file. I used a lua file from the NH90 from Damien as an example. And now I just see that the M2000 or Mirage F1 haven't the intensity_max parameter in there files... As I am discovering the modding, I think I didn't took the most optimized example, but by the way it's good, so I discovered some strange behavior, and now I better understand those sections of the lua file. I'm glad that I could help TeTeT, and hopefully new modder too.
  19. Hi Don't ask me why, but when setting intensity_max to 0 for the landing and taxi light, those "ghost" spots disappears. Maybe someone from ED can explain me why?

  24. I finally managed to make it work! After a good observation at the M2000 and the Mirage F1, I saw that the flare wasn't vary in intensity, but grows up... So it's linked to a Argbased Scale. And here is the result. For the light dimming, it's an ArgBased Float on the multiplier of the lightsource...
