Dude get off your high horse .... Don't assume players can't afford more expensive joysticks. I would GLADLY pay x2 x3 as much for a durable, functional joystick. For me the price is not an issue, I can afford and will pay whatever makes sense. I've been waiting close to 1.5 years for VKB-SIM to get there act together on making the Gladiator Pro Mk.II available so i can purchase it, I am on some so-called waiting list. I will probably end of purchasing the Kosmosima Space Combat Grip, but its all talk no action over there with no time line in sight. As for the Thrustmaster Warthog, you can purchase the joystick for $220 but my issue with that is it has no twist. I bought the X-55 to hold me over assuming based on what said at the time over on the VKB section that the Gladiator Pro was going to be available for sale within 6 months, it never happened. SO as you can clearly see your assumptions are incorrect.

^^^ This and not only that if Logitech had decent customer service there would be no need for these types of posts. You only need to do a search on Logitech CS and see its a joke. using the community.logitech support option there are many unanswered questions. There is one "Logitech X56 Rhino Pro Joystick X-Axis no longer functioning?" one week later it still has not been answered or even a reply, people end of giving up and frustrated.

LOGIRich just ran off into the sunset after he marketed his "wonderful" X56 that turns out to be the biggest pile of .... just filled with cheap Chinese parts lol (Logitech tell us they use "Modern, Military-Grade") LOL nothing further from the truth, no durability whatsoever. My X55 is done, none of the joystick buttons work, its probably a soldering issue but not worth my time to try to fix it, poor customer service. My advice it might be tempting to buy these joysticks but you pay for what you get, which is a poor product with cheap parts that don't last and comes with customer service that you would see in a developing country

Look at the F-14 thread.. players now out with there pitch forks complaining on its taking too long for the F-14 to be released even though they fully new well when they pre-purchased it, the F-14 module would not be released until the end of the winter, Heat Blur made this very clear when it went up for sale. DCS are dammed if they do dammed if they don't provide information. Todays PC players want everything today and I'm not waiting mentality and have no clue as to what goes into making a module, I can only imagaine the amount of code, testing and cost that goes into an F-16 module.

So you paid $69 and during that time when did HB tell you the F-14 would be released?

What part of the release could they have handled better? IMO they have been very clear on the TBD release date.

Then why do you want to see what is holding up the release...? Heat blur made it VERY CLEAR that the F-14 would not be released until the end of winter or sometime towards the end of March ..you haven't even bought the Module LOL The demand for "I WANT IT NOW" mentally in this thread is ridiculous

I don't see what the issue is, no one is FORCING you to buy the module. If you don't like work in progress modules then don't Flip'en buy it.... LOL how hard is that to comprehend??? Same people in this thread that are complaining about a WIP module (F-14) It just needs to stop ....

I went back 15 pages and did'nt see any updates, Is there anyway to install this mod without getting booted in multiplayer? For whatever reason its still failing the Integrity check in online servers.

SO ask for your refund and move on..... Lot's of people happy to pre-buy today and wait for the module unlike yourself who wants to suck the excitement and spirit of the release with useless posts with no merit. Ask HB for a refund and move on..... geezzzz

Sandman, I don't dispute that HB would do the right thing looks like your using chase terms and conditions dispute form. I know credit cards very well and in my dispute process and experience I have never had a problem when the "seller" has not resolved the issue, each credit card has different terms and conditions, my point is if HB didn't resolve it he would have other options. Honestly sounds like the person I was replying too hasn't even bought the F-14 module :noexpression:

There is ZERO risk why? I'm assuming you have used a credit card right? So credit cards offer protection for goods and services not rendered or deliveried even in the internet world, Lets just say a XYC DCS company goes out of business and does not deliver, you can file a dispute and get your $$$ back...... and yes I know what your thinking, they did not deliver what was promised or marketed, you file a dispute ....Case solved and closed :pilotfly:

And what is your risk exactly with Heatblur�?

This is a stupid discussion... #1 Heat blur have made it very clear that they intend to release it before Q1, or by the end of the winter. (This product launches in Early Access during this winter) #2 What your getting when released is up on Youtube for everyone to watch, there is no confusion as to what you are buying and a TBD of features list/fixes/improvements they plan to implement over time which I have no problem with. Someone mentioned and compared Razbam to Heat blur on delays LOL, let's clear that one up, IMO have done everything they said they were going to do to the Viggen, yes a few things have to be updated or improved but I have faith they won't forget about it. Again IMO its nearly perfect and can't ask for much more. ... its very simple, if you're not happy or willing to wait ask Heat blur� for a refund !.. if they don't but knowing these guys I'm sure they will, I will be happy to pay you for your key, even though I have a free F-14 coming to me. This should be the end of the discussion.... just unbelievable� what some of you guys complain about.

Last night I saw the A4 been used on private MP server, does this mean the IC has been fixed so I won't get kicked from other MP servers when flying other aircraft that have a IC active?

I said it in another post but I have a X-55 and would not recommend it. After few months of useage the joystick the joystick buttons stopped working, only way to get them to work is to hit the top of the stick and comes and goes. Springs could be better since there is also slop before you bank left or right. From all the reading I have done X56 is not better than the X55 they use the same cheap chinese parts. As for support its a joke. I will never purchase a Logitech joystick again. My advice is return it. There should be no slop.

I have the same issue using Auto Start for the F-18, the only way I can start the right engine, is by taking off (yes with one engine) and manually starting the right. Also when I get right RPM engine failure the AutoStart completely stops.
