as far as I am aware all we can do is tell the AI to 'orbit' but we can't give any perimeters for said orbit, and I don't know how to tell them to orbit continuously.

Same issue, the HUD symbology will lock the target then not move at all on the hud.
only have the issue with the AIM-7s though, the AIM-9s seem to work just fine.
The third-party developed planes have their forums in a section for said third-party developer...
that being said, Belsimtek is now part of ED so their modules are under the umbrela of ED in the general plane forum listing.
when you log into the server, just hop into the Tac Com slot. it lets you see where all your people are at least, and whatever enemy they see, thatll let you see whats going on nicely.
Thats what I do it even on the standard server.
Yeah, you basically just need to play around with the trim a lot as you fly about. just as with any aircraft that doesn't have FBW or AP.
you get the hang of it though.
