Does anyone have a good profile for this HOTAS for the RIO? The pilot bindings are simple enough to get, but the RIO has a lot of stuff to bind for the HCU and Lantirn stuff. Thanks for the help

Hoping a HB type sees this. Is there a plan to have a volume control for the walkman? I really love the idea of it and how it works, it really feels like a Walkman from back in the day, but it seems to be missing a volume control. Sometimes id love to have the music just a bit quieter.

I'd always take off with some flaps, from CV it's full flap take off, from shore I'd go the hornet route of half flaps. But we shall see. For landing, at least on the boat, the speed break is always deployed, so you keep the engines spooled for better response.

Most servers will probably do the ASH option, which is no different in time that the alignment in the hornet.

I'm with you BIH, get the bird fueling and running and while the alignment is going on plan your mission a bit, you've got some waypoints to pick out, grab a drink. Then go do your thing.

While I understand the sentiment that 8 minutes is a long time to align, I think given People the crutch of pre-aligned feeds the "air-quake" mentality that is seen far too much these days. If you're going to fly smart with the mission in mind, you may be doing a CAP for an hour or more, so 8 minutes isn't that long and it goes towards making you want to stay alive more. Don't be in a rush to put yourself into a position to get shot down.

Nah, from what I've gathered, it all hinges around the pilot. Since jester is there to assist a single player, the AI for pilot cannot do anything other than simple autopilot type actions. Can't land or take off or engage targets. So the pilot is really in charge in this circumstance.

Don't be annoying. As of Wednesday next we'll have out hands full of learning. No need to bother them about what's next.

And the targets the Tomcat was primarily designed to take down would never be able to defeat a missile through maneuver. Imagine a Bear trying to do that.

You'll be able to just use the HB as AI even if you don't own it. So I'd assume ED will just rely on HB to drop the A
