I think it only engages if your speed is relatively stable (i.e. you're not decelerating or accelerating too much). At least that's my experience.

Great campaign Baltic Dragon! :thumbup: It's also really cool to finally being able to use the NVG in a real mission! It´s a pity ED's updates always breaks the triggers though... they should be responsible for fixing all they break. Looking forward to continue with M03 ones this is fixed :)

Can some knowledgeable person explain the new features recently added, please? Magic slave to radar: What's the difference between this and what we already have with the slave that turns the rectangle into the triangle? Radar to magic: I guess the only upside of this is that you get the range and firing cues or have I missed something? Manual DO: When would you use it and how does it work? Did I miss anything? What happened to the target marker when you designate your target with the diamond? Is that removed intentionally or what? I find it harder to use CCRP now anyway.

Ok, that makes sense since I actually ripped the wings off and that happens with a load far higher than 8g now that I think about it :music_whistling: (although the meter didn't go further than 8g)

Recently tried Viggen again after a long time away. Noticed that it is impossible to load it more than 8 G. Almost seemed like their was some FBW limit like in the F/A-18 or F-16. Is this a bug or just a shortcut in the development of some kind?

Yes, really annoying. I've never experienced this radar bug before (I do remember people complaining about similar bugs some years ago) but now it's almost impossibly to use the radar... a real stutter fest.

Hi! I think there is a bug in M01 in Coup d'etat. I played it before 2.5.6 without problems but I've restarted the campaign today and tried the first mission two times without getting further than reporting the crash site. My wingman reports that one truck is on the move but nothing is moving. I also remember a manpad in the village but that is also not appearing. Guess some triggers got screwed in the update.

HB said they don't give time estimates anymore due to misjudgements in the past. My personal guess is Q4 this year given the amount of outstanding issues and the pace they've been doing things. Would love if they release it sooner but gotta stay realistic. Edit: I'm referring to the final release date, not necessarily the RC2.

Yes, I made the same observation some weeks ago. I don't think it's a DCS limitation as it works in the F/A-18. HB, please fix this when you fine tune the pilot body (he's too thin also, look at his waist). While I'm at it, please also enable the proper physical seat button so we don't have to use keyboard commands.

I'm not an expert but to my knowledge only the manual programs work atm (at least it used to be like that) for the Hornet. What I find a little annoying is that I always need to create a "chaff only" program if I for example want to do a SEAD mission against some medium/long range SAM systems. There isn't that much variety in the preset programs.
