  1. To be honest, I googled NATOPS and read "Four restricted distribution NATOPS manuals for the F-18 family of aircraft with a combined length of more than 3500 pages" and realized it really wasn't that important for me to know after all. LOL Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  2. I know how to turn them on, but how do we read them to fly properly in formation? Interested to see some screenshots of how the lead should be aligned from the wingman's cockpit point of view. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  3. Saitek/Logitech X52 and X52 pro are popular budget options that many folks have created A10c profiles for here. You will also get pretty good support in the forums if you run into issues setting it up. I have not had any problems with mine. This is not the same level of fidelity that the TM Warthog has. 4. Nose wheel steering and lase are the same button press on the hotas. So while you are on the ground, that press would toggle your nws. While you are flying, it will activate the laser (assuming your target is not masked by terrain or your aircraft body). So I assume he mapped that to the click of the mouse wheel. Not sure about the other mapping though. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  5. If you are certain the issue is related to jitter on the throttle, this thread can help alleviate that. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=199177 Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  6. Fwiw, the latest Logitech software for these joysticks (they bought saitek), worked much better for me. It allows me to map every button without issue. Pinky switch mapping does not require the software, but setting up your ministick for keybindings likely will. Also using the three way switch on the stick to switch profiles needs the software too. I used the Jack Bauer profile for a10 which you can google. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  7. A simple question for the group here: if my system is right around the minimum spec for 2.5, would I expect a drop in performance by going from 1.5.8 to 2.5, or an improvement in performance? I assumed the first case, but the comments here surprised me and now I'm not sure. Thanks, Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  8. These tips were game changing for me, in particular the one for smoothing out the slider jitter. I extended your python script to smooth out the thumb wheel as well. Your write up was very much appreciated. Kudos for sharing! Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  9. Its amazing how well this game has aged. Its like a nice wine. I too have started playing it again, and am going to go and get a 6 year old Trackir 5 off eBay. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  10. Nevermind, I just reread the post, it's a severe upward movement Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  11. If it's a very subtle drift, could this potentially be as designed, based on the speed that the OP is flying? He can trim for level flight if that's the case. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  12. Wouldn't that zone of reduced throttle be only for a particular speed range though? Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  13. I set my pitch and yaw axis curves to 30, which gives you very fine control. I too have an x52 pro Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
