  1. Mine is unprogrammed. You would set it as a modifier button within DCS Be sure to disable clutch mode. That is done within the windows Control Panel Game Controller applet, and not in the Logitech software Edit: oh wait, the clutch comment is to make the clutch button on the throttle mappable. It doesn't have anything to do with the pinkie switch. Apologies.
  2. hey I had an idea on this. Can SRS detect a second joystick (virtual device) for control mapping? I'm not at my PC until this evening, but my goal would be to leverage vJoy which I'm already using for an unrelated reason. I could then map physical button presses (with and without alt states) to virtual hat button presses, and have DCS countermeasures, Teamspeak, SRS and VoiceAttack all map to the virtual button presses.
  3. It's the 'no other buttons down' state in voice attack which I can't seem to get to work properly. As a fallback, I did in fact just reverse my mappings. I put countermeasures on the hat switches, and teamspeak, SRS, and VA as shifted states of the hat switches. It wasn't my first choice, but at least every function is mapped without overlap.
  4. Could you please elaborate how you got this working? I'm having problems making it only fire on the single button press, and I'm also not able to create a hold push to talk state. I'm mapping the joystick button press to a keypress that is then mapped to SRS. Thanks,

  6. Press U key to actually connect your launch bar up
  7. Are you engines advanced already when you initiate autostart? They should be down at idle.
  8. I'd always meant to look into voice attack for the radio comms with ATC, maybe I'll check it out for the aliases too. Thanks for the suggestion
  9. I would like to request a feature related to Controls mapping. Currently, I can map joystick button 26 to radio 1 and button 24 to radio 2. I also map the same buttons 26 and 24 with a modifier to in-game countermeasures switches. What happens when I activate these countermeasures though, is that it also fires the radios via SRS, since SRS sees that I have pressed button 26 or 24. Can we have SRS ignore keypresses/button presses with a modifier when a modifier is not explicitly specified in SRS controls screen? This would then allow us greater control over our key bindings. I do realize that I could reverse my buttons so SRS is activated with a modifier, and my countermeasures activated w/o the modifier, but I prefer to keep my radio controls as my main button press, since they are more often utilized. thanks for listening.
  10. Very nice and handy, thanks!
  11. I saw this on Growling Sidewinder's latest video and was going to accuse you of plagiarism! Then I realized it's actually you, lol. I love the skin, and your videos are all very well done and informative. Thank you for the time and effort you put into them.
  12. Retarted mk82s on the Hog were quite effective for me when flying under 400 feet using a CCRP solution. Could usually drop on top of a single vehicle. Of course, I too am looking forward to a targeting pod on the Bug. Trying to slew the TDC on the HUD is not a happy experience.
  13. Poor guys doing that without head tracking :( Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  14. At $60 regular price I would recommend waiting. It's a really old module now. I bought it for $20 and that was like 4 years ago. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  15. Is there an indicator that the velocity vector is caged? Sometimes I hit the hotas control to cage/uncaged in a slight crosswind and then don't really know what state it's in, because it's not obvious by looking at the HUD. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  16. Fuel flow in the IFEI takes a very noticeable and predictable jump when the burners kick in. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  17. Yep, I was asking for a single 3 way toggle that cycles through each state though. Similar to Master Modes on the A10c. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  18. Correct, because the 'course' is anchored to a specific point on the map, and not your aircraft, that would be a 'heading' instead. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  19. Hey guys, I would like to request a keybinding that we can map to a single keystroke/HOTAS button that cycles through AA/AG/Nav modes on the bug. The way it is right now, each of the two modes AG and AA are toggle buttons of their own which is intuitive on the clickable dash, but not with a mapped keystroke. thanks,
  20. request for pricing to Canada Hey HAV, Just want to know if the pricing in the original message on this thread is still valid? I'm specifically interested in shipping to Canada for the various wireless models. thanks! I couldn't send you a PM for some reason, sorry.
  21. Sniper, thank you for your time and effort on this thread, I did learn what I needed. Squirrel, please stop antagonizing, it has devolved into unhealthy discussion at this point. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  22. To be honest, I googled NATOPS and read "Four restricted distribution NATOPS manuals for the F-18 family of aircraft with a combined length of more than 3500 pages" and realized it really wasn't that important for me to know after all. LOL Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  23. I know how to turn them on, but how do we read them to fly properly in formation? Interested to see some screenshots of how the lead should be aligned from the wingman's cockpit point of view. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  24. Saitek/Logitech X52 and X52 pro are popular budget options that many folks have created A10c profiles for here. You will also get pretty good support in the forums if you run into issues setting it up. I have not had any problems with mine. This is not the same level of fidelity that the TM Warthog has. 25. Nose wheel steering and lase are the same button press on the hotas. So while you are on the ground, that press would toggle your nws. While you are flying, it will activate the laser (assuming your target is not masked by terrain or your aircraft body). So I assume he mapped that to the click of the mouse wheel. Not sure about the other mapping though. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
