  1. Hi For some reason my TDC is waay to slow, on the curves (and slider on the axis list) it only goes to like 30%, any ideas?
  2. Hornet been in development for 5 years acording to wags
  3. When this happens just press the RA knob so it self tests, also make sure bug is above 0, should work
  4. Yeah this been totally broken for a long time
  5. shoot cue is heavily dependant on altitude speed and aspect angle, 20nm its petty average best i got was close to 35nm at very high altitude an head on speed, your range date is innacurate
  6. Well i would disagree, it feels very natural and doesnt change the behavior at all, on the contrary it makes it bahave the same regardless of speed, you dont even feel it doing it. Like you said tho some might disagree We are getting off track tho, question is if the hornet as a fbw jet has this feature of not
  7. IF you did a cold start im 99% you didnt set the radalt bug, so the RA didnt go on Its self test and is therefore disabled. Just rotate the knob out of 0 i should work
  8. That might be a problem unless you are really close overhead, seems like the laser beam ends at like 10nm from the emitting source, known issue in the harrier
  9. It's a know bug from the last couple of updates, said to be fixed internally already, for now rock your wings a little to unstick it or put it on 80 degrees scan
  10. What do you mean it feels kind of strange IRL? No it doesn't it makes perfect sense you don't need steering imput if you have enough IAS on the rudder
  11. You might have misunderstood, on the airbus a320 at least the pedals NWS (Low gain as you described) the reduces its gain and max angle as speed goes up until it totally disabled at certain speed Like I said I would ASSUME the hornet you have something similar but it's just a guess, if it does't have this kind of feature it doesnt make any sense for it to come on even at low gain at touchdown, sounds like something very dangerous
  12. I always fly with map off but thats just me
  13. You can assume every sensor and weapon will have one it’s kind of a no brainer
  14. Regular NWS should have a gain based on speed as well so it doesnt go crazy as you accelerate or just after touchdown, it probably disables itself past a certain speed, commercial aircraft do it so Im making an assumption the hornet has the same logic, might be wrong but would be nice
  15. I agree and I think this should be moved to bugs, it's definetly way off
  16. THanks but I can't, I don't understand just why it doesn't work as supposed to... anyways just ordered myself a warthog
  17. It's on the carrier you have to set it up like a tanker, i'm pretty sure it's under set option and set ICLS on, same as you would do for the tacan, and you can also choose the channel
  18. It's a good point but also a good question by the OP Perhaps we should be asking ourselves (assuming there is no restrictions with ACLS) what is the visibility minima with ACLS inop
  19. With a total hydraulic failure you will crash
  20. Hello! Did anyone manage to set the TDC slew using the mini stick on the X-52 pro? cause i coudnt, tried it both on DCS and using the profiler on different modes, including trying to use bands to emulate buttons Thanks
  21. That because your wings are not design for that kind of flight, even tho you can do it and you have a way better T/W ratio you are in a much higher AoA therefore bleeding WAY more energy, that's it can get harder to keep up in a horizontal turn fight specially at very low speeds. keep your speed over 250/300 and should be an easy fight
  22. I make your words mine, but I gotta say that the biggest problem is not the spread, fact is the solution in many cases is just flat our WRONG, both in AA and AG the rounds go nowhere near the fire solution (spcially in AA level flight close targets)
  23. Can anyone confirm the latest radar issues have been fixed? There is no mention of it on the change log
