Yes those log files. Anyhow have you or Windows done any updates drivers, security updates past week or so? not sure but the one crash log shows this: 0x000000000001E0AB (KERNEL32): FatalExit + 0xB Was it a sudden program end or did you have to kill the process?

Hello I only see crsh and dmp files in there no log files?? can you post your DCS Log file as well. and I guess the question is did winodws or your self update and programs or the OS since this started happening? Do you have any PC components overclocked?

Well isn't Vulkan coming 3rd quarter 2022? yes I dont think it is all in the GPU mostly cpu for alot of things hence why I am able to run medium shadows and high textures. and it looks and is really pretty smooth..

Well it works for me but I usually been running low shadows flat sucks, I only notice a few fps drop when going medium.... Depends on what FPS you can live with. I am down to about 33-40fps sometimes goes to 45fps so it is not all bad. with OpenXR I was able to increase the rez and have a lower FPS that was acceptable..

I had a thread similar to this and was told it is just not about pushing pixels.. If a 3090 is not enough for a Varjo and you need basically a 150% Improvement I hear the 4xxx series is gonna be very fast so I guess we can wait until they come out and get some real world numbers.. I do not remember where the thread ended up but like on DCS I can get to 40% res and in say another game I can get 70% resolution it really comes down to how efficient the game can di what it needs to do not just push pixels.. But according to the google serach I just did my 1070 should push 4K res. but I just checked my OpenXR Graphic rez and it was 1992x1948 which is near the 2160 but in the G2 and I think other headsets we need to include the rez for the warping it must do but I dont see how that adds pixels to the mix. So total pixels in my headset with a 1070 are 7,760,832 with DCS I can get a little more depending on mission I am playing or even the game I play.. Does the Varjo do something similar with the optics and the display resolution like with the G2? I would imagine some games would work better then others for many reasons. heck I am unsure but I am thinking maybe the market will just push me out because of new pricing or there will just be so many wanting to buy the market may do another scalper issues and drive prices even further then they are now.. So how does your 6900XT run the G2 in DCS what res do you run? I have a 1070 and can get to 40% res in OpenXR with mostly low settings altho I have textures and shadows on medium..

which pimax in particular is it the Pimax 5k or 8KX?? Pimax is pretty brutal on systems especially if you run max FOV.

Yes, But I am unsure if there is a difference in depth. as to change that you would need to seperate the 2 images in the headset which I don't see the vidoe drivers being able to accomplish?

Hey I was wondering if you are using OpenXR If so what rez do you run at.. Was trying to determine the least amount of FPS I can accept which is about 38-45fps..

Will I need to associate the DCS EXE with this profile? we did things like this with 3D vision cool stuff for sure will see in a minute what it looks like I like more Depth..

NVM, I unzipped it to my Downloads folder and it then ran fine.. I will give this a go..

Yes I dl this exact file and when I run it nothing happens?? I know it is supposed to open inspector but it does not? I will retry to DL it

Well I downloaded the file for inspector it does nothing. I go into the inspector I installed and I dont have those settings. these directions are missing an important step and I imagine it has to do with the reference file in the download on Github?? How do I import that xml file into inspector?

Hey All, I just noticed this problem last night flying at night. When I get above 2ft or so the PNVS in the Monocle turns off after reaching 2feet or so. when I go back down it turns on again. I made a short clip of this and it happened on que. Now sure what else to post specs are in my Sig and I just did a Clean, repair just before flight and I am using No Mods.. EDIT: I just watched the trk file and it did not go out in the trk file but in my VR Headset it did go out. not sure what is going on here but something is bugged.. here are my log files as well.. but the PNVS in the monocle goes out when looking in the VR headset. I will try and take note if it plays in the 2d monitor or not.. I made a simple mission and the first time I flew it the PNVS went out. I flew it again and it did not go out. I guess maybe someone else try it and see if the PNVS goes out on you.. pnvs goes out.trk neph night .miz dcs.log pnvs goes out3.trk

Tell me what MP server you experience this on I would like to see it for myself as I have chosen many MP servers and don't experience much problem.. I do understand CPU GPU bound so I have yet to see my CPU goto 40.. I still say the guy who was running 200% rez in SteamVR that needs to be turned down.

well i do not seem to have an issue with most mp servers. i understand ed needs to fix some things but like i said it works for me and i am only on a 1070gtx..

well a 200% rez in SteamVR for MP is too much you may have to dial that back some MPK.. you can not have your cake and eat it too. not understanding this logic.. Have you read about OpenXR perhaps that could be an option for you.. it replaces SteamVR.. but you still will not be able to run at 200%..

Hello, RuskyV, can you be a little more specific as I cannot find any binds for the Ihadss movement? Well I looked in the settings controls I se no such adjustments.. If anybody knows if they exist Please leave a post here on where they can be found. this would help out immensly in Vr..

Haha I finally found this post as I say the same thing. I see the monocole in Both eyes even tho I have it setup in the right only.. Now if I close my right eye I see only the view outside my eye with a piece of the monopcle to my left side of the left eye. when I close my left eye I see only the monocole but when I view with Both eyes like I do IRL I see the monocole cover both eyes.. I also want to point out if I look right with both eyes I see what the left eye sees part of the monocole and the rest of the monocole looking right with both eyes. so something is not exactly correct here.. I am pretty sure If I placed the real helmet on my head with the monocole in position it would not look like it does in VR maybe a little bit but it seems way exagerated in the VR headset where I see it in both my eyes. Here is a Stereo screenshot in a single shot. note the monocole is in the center, I think for this to be correct the monocole needs to be shifted to the right. maybe they did this for the 2d monitors?? but in the 3d headset it is not correctly aligned.. so hopefully a dev will pick this post up and pass it along.

is that setting in the openxr page or the toolkit that opens with f2?

Well the thing is I just seen some GPU's 3050-3090's in stock and at microcenter thing is they are like twice the price they used to be.. This is basically the same price the scalpers where getting for them. I just don't see them lowering the price when people are willing to pay twice the price. now not all bought cards from scalpers but those that did fueled this dilema we are now in.. I do hope prices go back to near normal levels and not these inflated pricing we been seeing last few years..
