  1. not wsure if this still works but this user says there is a way to adjust he eye view? Hope it helps.
  2. I have tried most of the suggestions and none helped at all for me
  3. look under HOCAS in the controls profile for Apache.. it is mostly all in there. the thing I am having issues with is getting the Center Display to slew in the CP/G seat..
  4. Hey Guys, I am having issues in my Reverb G2. I am on a fresh install of Win10 updated all win10 updates as of 3-18-2022. I just DDU wiped my older drivers I was using and installed fresh 511.79 nVidia drivers which was worse then the older drivers I was using but just wanted to rule that out. my specs are in my sig but a pretty decent system save my GPU which is only a 1070GTX. I am on the lowest settings in DCS and mopved my Preload Radius to 75K which helped a little. I took some shots of my settings if anything is missing Please let me know what you need. I was playing the Instant action mission Hot Pit takeoff in Syria. here is my fpsVR log saves: fpsVR Report: App: DCS HMD: HP Reverb Virtual Reality Headset G20 (90.001 Hz, IPD 65.7) GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (30.0.15.1179, Tavg 55.1, Tmax 64) CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700K CPU @ 3.80GHz (Tavg 48.2, Tmax 70) Delivered fps: 21.59 Duration: 4.1min. Headset was active: 50% GPU Frametimes: Median: 23.6 ms 99th percentile: >30 ms 99.9th percentile: >30 ms frametime <11.1ms(vsync): 12.8% CPU frametime: Median: 17.1 ms 99th percentile: >30 ms 99.9th percentile: >30 ms frametime <11.1ms(vsync): 14.1% Reprojection Ratio: 48.1% (for Index/Vive/VivePro headsets only) Dropped frames: 1 or 0.0% (for Index/Vive/VivePro headsets only) Max. SteamVR SS: 18% Render resolution per eye: 1336x1308(by SteamVR settings, Max.) (HMD driver recommended: 3151x3083) this report took about 60minutes to gather including swapping nVidia drivers and getting screensnips.. hopefully will motivate others to do the same. and If you need any other info Please let me know what you would like to see besides my bank account numbers.. dcs.log
  5. Yes I have to agree. the in use RAM is about 8gb on my system and that is before I start DCS. I would say if you fly DCS 64 is about the main allotment I would say to use.. I am betting most my issues are lack of RAM in the Apache and in Syria, Nevada..
  6. Well I contacted Thrustmaster support they only wanted my first born and both arms and legs what a crock.. so they are no help as they wanted my address, phone number and proof of purchase and some other BS.. I reinstalled Windows 10 yet again and did not install Foxy this time I ran Target and I still get the error in Device analyzer.. at this point it really not is that important .. Guess I will just live with it not working anymore..
  7. Well I had set Win updates for other microsoft products and it did update 2 C++ files but I still get that nagging error. I was wondering could it have been the recent Win 10 updates as there where quite a few of them.. Other then windows update I had alway been able to get the Device analyser working after a fresh install. I am thinking it is a Win 10 issue at this point as I have tried everything else.. Well if anybody has any ideas I am sure to try them.. Thank you.
  8. Well I usually just ended up reinstalling Windows and all but I just did that twice in a week. I am thinking it could be hardware related but what would cause that besides the HOTAS? I have the Cougar plugged into a powered USB hub and I moved the plug back to a 2.0usb port on the motherboard. It seems to be tight but maybe the hub I have is bad? I only have the 1 Cougar which was a barely used by the 1st owner as it broke some weeks after he bought it and decided to just sell it. so it is basically new old stock.. I have the 2 Thrustmaster MFD's connected to the hub along with the mouse. I just unplugged a device from the HUB and the MFD's went out Maybe the hub is defective.. I will see if I can find a better hub for my setup I will also check the power plug maybe it is disconnected? Thank you for the responce.. EDIT: I reinstalled Windows and moved the usb from the cougar to the front USB on my PC I still get the target device analyzer error.. could it be anything else other then maybe the joystick?
  9. hey everybody, I am getting an error in Device analyzer when I try to start it. now in the past I just uninstalled and reinstalled TARGET and it most times fixes it but this time I keep getting this annoying error. I tried using v 3.0.18 and the latest 3.0.21 of TARGET. I am using a Thrustmaster Cougar and target for HomeFries Profile. I am on a Fresh install of Win 10 and updated to latest updates and all. I would like to find a fix for this as sometimes it happens and other times it does not when installing. Specs are in Sig..
  10. Well to be sure I think you need the controllers to set it up. I have a G@ and see no way to get past the setup without the controllers. you may not need them for DCS but during the setup of the G2 they are required. I would NOT personnely buy them without the controllers..
  11. well if you plan on buying from a scalper I say nay on the card it only supports this BS.. not helpfull for users lower on the ladder
  12. well I had a Rift S and used SteamVR with a shortcut paramater to get it working.. I am unsure but I don't think DCS will run on the Oculus stuff without using SteamVR?? and I forget the augment to put in the shortcut to force Steam VR to run..
  13. Well I would say monitor your Frametimes as the GPU scheduling seemed to affect that the most.. I had worse Frametimes when I had those enabled in DCS but was better in Elite Dangerous..
  14. Well I tested it myself and I am unsure what to think. but by looking at the fpsVR numbers it seemed worse but by eye it seemed better smoother?? would love to see more serious results as I just did it quick and dirty plus I use VR so not sure if that made it worse or better?
  15. Well I have seen people say it works and I have seen people say it does not work.. This could be a chance to test it yourself and see if it has any benefit. Honestly I have no idea what it is supposed to do but I think it it supposed to prioritise that game exe over other things in Windows. I mean in theory it sounds like if not even an benefit that it works just maybe it is all under the hood works.. I would like to hear from someone who has tried it with DCS or knowledge of what it is supposed to do instead of hearsay..
  16. Well you left out alot of important info like what rez are you running and do you use more the 1.0 PD. what settings do you have in DCS. I have a 1070GTX anbd use 20% Rez in SteamVR and lowest settings and I can maintain motion vector 45fps with my setup.. if you are getting Crashes it could be an unstable OC and such. Your PC and others may be stable with other games but DCS is not tother games and I seen the slighest unstable system CTD and such in DCS at the slightest hint of trouble.. and when I mean unstable that usually means either too high an OC or your CPU voltage needs a slight bump.. Did you attqach your DCS Logs here maybe they have an indication as to what is causing your issues..
  17. Well I would double check your OC CPU or GPU. try running them at either stock speeds for the CPU and maybe underclock the GPU. the slightest unstable system with DCS will cause issues NOT seen in other games and such..
  18. Your Welcome hope it works out for you.. as for the MFD's I like them but once I got VR did not use them as much but if you fly the A10C or F16 heck even the F18 could use them they are pretty neat. and if you use a monitor you could always get those little monitors to use as a real MFD of sorts.. So if you are a fan of DCS and getting the MFD's are pretty cool in a way especially if you like having flight gear on your desktop..
  19. Well it has been over a decade since I used a KVM switch but running either PC I never experienced and lag per say. Not sure but does Startech have any KVM Switches? I would reccomend a Powered USB hub but make sure you have enough amps for the ports you have on the hub.. So basically you figure .5 amps per usb plug so if it is a 6 port Hub make sure the amps on the power pack is near 3 amps.. usually they use less but .5 should even it out.. if you have USB DEview you can see the power draw on your USB Devices to figure power needs..
  20. you said a BIOS update might have done this? if so can you revert the BIOS version? also is the M.2 in a hyper M.2 slot?
  21. well depending on your settings for the Q2 and DCS you should be getting better than that I would imagine. Are you using the cable or wireless? what is your Super sampling settings? there are tons of settings in the quest I would advise you do as TZeer said and do a search you might find some good info on tuning your Q2..
  22. try this you can load it from memory on the faulty PC and see if you can see the drive: https://www.hirensbootcd.org/
  23. Hey Man you are Welcome, hope you enjoy it..
  24. Well I had this issue happen when I switched to Win 10 some years back. IF unplugging the USB and plugging it back in does not work, one possible thing to try is to Reflash the Stick.. Now if you do not know how to do this PLEASE DONT DO THIS. But basically you unplug the USB stick then remove the throttle from the sick, WARNING!!!!! if You Flash the stick with the Throttle plugged in you will brick the Throttle.. Now I always have issues when flashing the stick it just takes some patience and several tries.. I know you can flash the stick through Foxy and there is another trick where you unplug the stick, then while unplugged hold the trigger button down and plug it back in then release it should bring up the flash menu, or something like that.. there are old guides out there on how this is done but as long as you unplug the throttle from the stick you should be good.. But be warned I never tried it on Win 11 so who knows what will happen??
  25. Well that is ok I just sold it .. Hope you find what you are looking for..
