  1. If going to replicate the feel of the real thing as close as possible, wouldn't you want weaker spring(s) on roll axis than on pitch axis?
  2. I wanted to change the springs and cams, anyway.
  3. It should be enough to remove the bottom cover.
  4. This is my board (MongoosT-50 base from the last batch). The board version "VPC.CNT.V06" is clearly marked.
  5. Keep in mind that the picture might not show all existing PCB versions. On my MongoosT-50 base I did not touch the PCB setting (in VPC Configuration Tool) and the "Device PCB" is listed as "VPC.CNT.V06".
  6. That image is from here.
  7. Compare your board withe these:
  8. Check the actual PCB inside your MongoosT-50 to see which version you have.
  9. This is the Warthog joystick adapter. Use 4 screws to secure it to one of your desktop mounts: After mounting, it should look similar with this (this image is with the WarBRD adapter): But the Warthog adapter goes "inside" the mount (in the case of WarBRD adapter, the mount goes inside the adapter) and is secured with 4 short screws (2 on top, 2 on bottom), not with 2 long ones. ------- And this is how you mount the Warthog throttle plate:
  10. Just to be clear, you have to press two buttons after moving the stick for calibration: - Set center and save profile and then - Step 3: Save Device Profile Initially you only mentioned the first button.
  11. After that you also have to make "Step 3: Save Device Profile".
  12. You could replace just the broken stem, not the whole grip. On the Warthog base you can use the MongoosT-50 grip from VirPil (VPC), but not the Delta grip. VKB is supposed to make a MCG version for the Warthog base.
  13. Zero chance, now that they only sell the WarBRD base.
  14. Stop updating the profile. :)
  15. Did you mounted it from the base? That's not good.
  16. You must use a button from some other device.
  17. Slight confusion here. Let me clear this up. VKB makes bases and grips. === The Gunfighter base, when sold with the extension, stronger springs and the small base plate (needed for center mount of the stick), was called "Gunfighter Pro". The exact same base, when sold without those accessories, was called "Gunfighter". As an added complication, after the Gunfighter was already in production, they reversed the connector between the base and the grip. First iteration used the 3-pin connector (now called "3-pin Revision A") with the 3 pins on the base and the 3 contacts in the grip. Current iterations are using the so-called "3-pin Revision B" connector, with the 3 pins in the grip and the 3 contacts in the base. The second iteration is also known (mostly in US) as "Gunfighter Mk. II" (or "Gunfighter Pro Mk. II" if sold with extensions). At least in the EU shop they will no longer sell the Gunfighter Pro, but instead offer the extension accessories as a separate purchase (good decision). === Now about the MCG grips. They have a MCG and a MCG Pro grip. The Pro grip has more features (such as a 4-way hat + push for the thumb, instead of just a button). They also had a third, special MCG version, to be used on a Warthog base. And they are supposed to make 5-pin versions, for older bases. But this is not of interest, if buying a new base+grip (which are 3-pin Rev.B - both the base and the grip).
  18. They said "by the end of November". Not "at the end of November".
  19. OK. Thanks for this answer. I won't cancel my order, then. :)
  20. So was the MongoosT-50 base batch from October 19th the last batch for this base or not? If it was not the final batch for the MongoosT-50 base, will the next batch (or batches) have any discounts for the MongoosT-50 base? I bought a MongoosT-50 base at full price in October 19th because Virpil officially said that was the final production run for this base.
  21. From here.
  22. The MongoosT-50 base was out of stock since Friday. It sold out in a few hours.
  23. You need to be more specific. Which MT-50? One of the five MT-50 grips? The MT-50 base? The MT-50 throttle? MT-50 Cosmosim cams? MT-50 throttle dust cover?
  24. Nice simpit, but I'm not sure if it has enough buttons.
  25. Should be from Lithuania. The MongoosT-50 base is already out of stock. So now it's gone forever.
