  1. I believe this is a known and reported (lots of times) issue which will hopefully be addressed soon.
  2. Works like a charm. Thanks...
  3. My hero :)
  4. Cool, thanks. Could you point me at them?
  5. Hi, Is there any possibility of getting some generic size (small, medium, large) and generic colour (desert, snow, Europe) camouflage netting that could be placed *over* objects in ME? I know the overall ability is there because you have it in the FARP weapons store. At the moment we have the odd scenario of every placeable ground vehicle and object (like AAA emplacements) being green with what appear to be Greek army crew. That means they stand out like a bulldog's balls in, say, a snowy terrain and are unrealistically easy to target. Cam nets would avoid the need for a gazillion different models as well as adding some good mission build flexibility. Alternatively, could someone direct me to where I can find the different ground skins so I can do some quick and dirty reskinning? Thanks.
  6. Have you tried thumping the side of the panel? Used to work in the Wessex... (Sometimes)
  7. What version? New cockpit in OB is perfect...
  8. All cockpit lights are working fine for me, particularly the AP and target mode buttons which were knackered before. OB 2.6.x and normal 2d
  9. Same here. I'm starting the sim using DCSUpdater.exe from the /bin folder...
  10. Everything (military) I've ever flown, or flown in, had a dinghy in the seat. Fixed and rotary wing...
  11. Military wisdom - if it moves and shouldn't, duct tape or cable ties. It's all good...
  12. It's what we call a field modification.
  13. Just to add a layer of complication, certainly in the UK callsigns can change several times during a single sortie. For instance, I take off from RNAS Culdrose as "Whisky 25" on the local frequencies and get a call on VHF from the London Civil who are tracking me on SSR. To them I'm "Navy 525" and when they pass me on to the Coastguard for SAROPS I'm now "Rescue 25" If we're on a combat flight then it'll be "Mission 25" instead, probably from the moment the radio gets turned on, though it might also be a randomly assigned mission word... Caveat that this was a few years ago, and things may have changed.
  14. Sorry to be pedantic, but... The C130 has a strobe, the other two don't. They are anti-collision beacons (which everything has) rather than strobes (which are white and not everything has them, though most things do).
  15. Not just your opinion.
  16. If you're in the UK and will pay postage I have an old Saitek thing similar to that which you can have.
  17. They seem to be working fine. I thought there was a toggle to turn them on or off, but I can't find it now so maybe they are just on?
  18. That's cool, thank you. Quick scroll through showed one thing I'd forgotten. Just how much runway an F4 needs to get up to flying speed...
  19. Or 1970's era Arab-Israeli conflicts. That gives you MiG 15s, 17s, 19s and 21s, Su 7s and 17s plus Hunters, Mirages, Super Mysteres, F-4s, A-4s plus assorted light bombers. You can add 2nd generation SAMs and even throw in WW2 era prop fighters at a push. What's not to love?
  20. Wild Weasel missions in an F4G. Or better yet, landing an F4K on one of our (relatively) teeny weeny carriers before running out of fuel. Which was apparently always a gamble... Yes. Please. Whoever it is - give us a 'Toom.
  21. A quick trawl back through posts will show that this was an issue for a long time before 2.5.6. I think before 2.5, even... It is, we are assured, in hand.
  22. I can do that in the campaign I'm currently developing for the Ka-50. It's a good idea.
