  1. Here is a wish for adding support for managing the co-pilot in the Apache when it comes out
  2. with this setup don't you end up without the ability to rest your heels on the ground? For the monstertech setup I assume people would rest their heels on the rails supporting the pedals.
  3. The pedals wouldn't recentre even on the lowest damper setting. I'm not sure if I'm simply supposed to tighten the center spring. The spring is the default one that the Slaw comes with. I have nothing to compare with and so I am looking at returning the damper and try and get another one on Ebay or similar.
  4. Wow, that's an extensive setup. I got monstertech to attach my warthog hotas/joystick to my table. I will go back and check their website to see what else they sell. I was thinking of buying a timber plate and drill a couple of holes in it to fixate the pedals
  5. I bought a damper but find the pedals won't recenter by themselves even on the lowest setting. Would you be able to give me an idea of how easy the damper should be moving at the lowest setting? I find it pretty hard to move and wondering if it should instead be easy and with almost no friction?
  6. I got my slaw pedals a few days ago. Very cool. I need to fasten them to a board or something so they don't move. Pushing the pedals moves them backwards while braking makes them kind of tilt forward. I tried to use velcro but it isn't strong enough. Now, I installed a damper but the pedals won't recenter by themselves any longer. I'm not sure if it's because the damper I bought is bad and the pressure even on the lowest setting is pretty tough to make it move. Any ideas? Do I need to strengthen the centre spring? ps: I haven't told my wife how much they cost...
  7. Thank you. How do you find the Slaw compared to the MFGs? Worth the upgrade?
  8. Thank you for the info. That's bit of a worry. I thought they would be good for helos if the centering is reduced/removed + a damper. Maybe the TM TPR is better then... I must admit I find the look of TM TPR to be very ugly... while the slaw device is a piece of art
  9. Is anybody using these for helicopters? I am hoping it will be fine for the Apache when it comes out. I can see Slaw is working on a new type of pedals that works in a perpendicular fashion so I wonder if I pre-ordered the wrong pedals... I bought a damper and hope with this + setting a looser centering it will work fine.
  10. Hi all, Now three years later - does anybody know if this breakage was a really rare incident or it is a common problem for TPR owners? About to pull the trigger on this pedals but unsure if there is a real issue or not as when I have searched for this issue in the recent days I haven't come across anybody else reporting this problem Cheers
  11. Same issue here. Pretty annoying especially when doing an instant flight starting in mid air I will try your suggestion and see if it helps.
  12. Thank you for the fast reply! I will see if I somehow can fit them under my desk... I got this kind of a cross bar that holds cables which will block the TPR to be pushed enough back I think.
  13. Has anybody compared these with the use of the TM TPR? I'm on the fence whether to get MFG Crosswind + F-16 combat pedals or TM TPR... the MFG Crosswind looks like their have a higher level of quality engineering - yet the TPR appear to have like 10x higher degree of precision according to their specs. From reading the forum it seems like people find their are able to make more precise movements compared to having the full foot on the pedals.
  14. Thanks Barthek for your great work!!
  15. It seems that neither Ugra or ED cares a bit about Normandy. You can see posts here for at least the last year with no replies from them as to whether they will every revisit Normandy and fix anything. A simple 'no' would actually be better than let lots of people hanging... it only helps to worsen people's opinion about Ugra and ED with pure ignorance.
  16. I would be interested to hear from Ugra whether they intend to make any updates to the Normandy map or not. Does anybody know?
  17. Before a new map I just really hope they will go back and fix Normandy After that Africa would be great!
  18. On a SATA III SSD I still find stuttering when jumping to another unit and DCS needs to load in textures, etc. It takes 1-2 sec for refreshing the textures. I am hoping nvme may fix this issue. Anybody seen this issue?
  19. Agree 100% How can people complain about something that is done for free and for their joy of DCS. Constructive and positive feedback is the way to go.
  20. +1. One of my biggest wishes for DCS is to see vehicles that don't get stuck in buildings so missions with these doesn't always have to be done outside of populated areas or having to stop them from moving.
  21. No worries. I just wanted to see if I could translate it to English (no updates) so it could benefit more people if it had any interest. Cheers
  22. Would you be ok with the community tried to translate your document? I don't want to override any copyrights you have for this doc. :) If so, would you be ok to upload your guide in a different format? Say words or whatever you used as it would be easier to update the document.
  23. This regedit fix for Windows 10 removed pretty much all stuttering for me: I'm running a I9900KF@5Ghz and kept getting micro stutters all the time.
  24. I just started to have a very similar issue. No scripts but an error message saying [string "XYZ"]:1: '=' expected near '<eof>' Weird. The mission starts but I only see the loading screen while I can hear that the mission was loaded and selecting F2, etc. changes the view of planes, etc.
  25. Any reference you can point to or a believe.
