I think it's safe to say from the current captoglove threads in these forums that most people want/expect the glove to be used as the mouse replacement for clickable cockpits And that expectation was backed up by comments from captoglove that you could do so including YouTube's of the huey Where they were doing just that although not very well It's also reasonable to say that most people on these forums who have an interest in captoglove also have hotas systems they would like to keep using And if they want to gain sales in this arena that's what they have to aim for He has reviewed his experiences with it and the key thing is that his review is essentially confirmation of suspicions Already held . It's therefore useful and shouldn't be denigrated You're free to post a counter review but don't tear down other people's experiences because they didn't match yours (You haven't tried it in dcs yet anyway)

Thanks for the honest review . Such a shame it's so far from what people actually expected based on their statements and YouTube examples Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

Yes sorry should have been more clear Perhaps still 3d models (if it works in steam vr) but make separate panels that can then be moved about to adjust for user perspective rather than one rigid cockpit model that can't be adjusted ? Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

Trying to match a 3d model of an f18 out of game with the in game 3d model seems like an exercise in extreme patience or even futility for both you and then the user when they try to recenter their view in game ... Is the model you used in blender come from dcs files ? If not they may not even match dimensions Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

VSTOL near vertical landing into wind but a/c tries to tipover.

Can't look at the track but maybe look at your aircraft attitude. I think it's best to be a bit nose high on the touch down Nozzle angle 82 -84 deg usually requires some nose high to get below 30knots in my experience Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk -
Right now the m2000 has the advantage Aim7 v m530. The matra is just better Radar . Situational awareness through tws iff is invaluable Once stt the radar is rock solid and holds lock in the crank at a wide angle Rwr. Missile ir launch warnings are awesome Manoeuvre. The mirage can defeat everything else provided the pilot can finish the fight in less than 30 seconds once merged Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

Pretty sure it's placeholder currently Will probably be integrated with the dmt at some point Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

If data cartridge was functional then it could be done preset As it stands you can only operate the cms once airborne afaik Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

You would do far better to wait for whatever next gen nvidia release and then the ti version of that will probably be where the real improvements will kick in Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

Improved stability and dedicated server - Discussion
jimiC replied to NineLine's topic in Multiplayer
All valid points ciribob. In order to pull off something like you guys have built requires massive dedication. Extensive knowledge and skills in coding and scripting usually through professional training It is beyond the realm of even a committed fan with some knowledge and skills to replicate in most cases. Relying on people of exceptional skill and commitment to overcome the hurdles in order to provide a good mp experience is not an ideal solution People WANT to build what you have built but are simply incapable of doing so without tools and support. I am grateful you and a small number of others have done what you have done but what would be even better is if most people with a bit of motivation were capable of the same results. Our mp community would explode and flourish if this were the case. Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk -
Improved stability and dedicated server - Discussion
jimiC replied to NineLine's topic in Multiplayer
the solution is to make mp missions more basic isn't ideal One of the reasons I got tired of mp in dcs 10 years ago was because the servers were basic . It was all target practice this and playground that . Finally some brilliant people are creating some amazing gameplay with what they have to work with. They're asking for help on that by improving on what has undeniably been bereft of improvement for a very long time on the development end. Simplifying missions to the point of boredom doesn't help ed or the community Servers like dynamic dcs and blueflag need to be embraced and supported and helped to flourish . An active online community is the lifeblood of a flight sim Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk -
VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
jimiC replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Good to see this getting a lot of reads and uses. Hope ed see it and give it some thought Good to see lefuneste in here with 3dmigoto ideas too as using that mod can help with ic issues on mp Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk -
so you think that moving them at all causes the bug? i thought that actually u CAN auto startup but you have to twist your knobs (giggity) before the engines spool up in order to be able to interact with the frequencies. either way its to do with the startup and the status of the radio before/after definitely.

Is it possible to get an ic ok version for mp or is there practically no changes that will work in that case Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk -
This appears to be due to the gun pod being selected in a2a mode still. Select sidewinder in a2a mode. Go back to a2g and select sidearm This is a separate issue to the dll change last week Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

Whats the process for that. Literally hit mk osb and then do the above wp edit ? Is that creating a lat long at current location first or.something ? Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
-
Problem - when in a mp server adding waypoints does not update the hsi with the lat long of the new waypoint at the top of the mpcd with hsi on it or the bearing and range Replicate - join mp -start up auto or manual - in single player you may already have some wps - in mp usually wp 0 is 0s - go through wp entry process - check wp added on hsi. - lat long shows as 0s and brng rng data is 0 - check the wp data by hitting data osb - wp pos ocd cycle shows correct lat long stored -Go back to hsi. Select wp added. Now dseg wp. Hud provides visual cue to correct wp location and bearing and range data now available on hsi - Lat long still 0s Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

just to get more clarity on this issue. the difference is between manual and auto startups. if you use autostartup the above listed procedure doesnt work. if you manually startup you can change the manual frequency as described above...

I would guess you choose based on your headset u are using ? I think it is simply loading up the correct vr apps prior to starting the dcs exe .... Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

Are there any ? Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

No real difference between this and perf in other modules. Solid 45 on the ground and 60s higher up away from the terrain a bit Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
