  1. Please let me know if you like it, or if you notice any problems related to the mission. My hope by using a "template" will allow me to quickly make many quality missions that have zero problems, and should work for dedicated servers with regard to mission ending and mission cycling. Right now the mission scenarios are simple "go here and destroy these targets". As DCSWH becomes more stable, and things start working better in MP I will add AI aircraft, JTAC, and other fancy things. My ultimate goal is to create tons of quality & complete MP content for online groups to play a full day without seeing the same mission twice.

  4. F-14 wings are fixed? News to me :)
  5. Can't wait to see this project finished, nice work so far!
  6. I have a complete set (stick throttle pedals) for 150 plus whatever it would cost to send it to you from the pacific coast. PM if you want more details.
  7. I have the same CH setup as you, but I love the X-52 (non-pro) for this sim! There isn't a built-in dual stage trigger for PAC for the CH stick, so that means that you have to make un-conventional work arounds. With the X-52, you squeeze the trigger a little so your AC is steady on target then squeeze harder for metal ripping fun. With the non-pro, you can relax your feet because rudder functions are done by twisting the stick. I have a profile with pictures of how I have mine configured here. http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/38305/
  8. I have a modified JackBauer profile that works pretty well. http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/38305/
  9. I haven't had as much time to fly as I would like to yet (work), but first impression has my cheeks sore from too much smiling :) Fricken awesome! Only one CTD in a MP session so far, but i'm sure that will be fixed if it's not related to my setup. Well done, and thanks for your hard work!
  10. The x52 has some strange issues... The problem I used to have was similar. When flying and pressing a button, the LEDs would flicker then the joystick center position would be where ever I had it when it flickered. I bought a powered USB hub and the problem doesn't happen nearly as often anymore.
  11. I think this update is still valid. They are making a new beta because the previous one had too many problems. When they get a good build they will release it. I think we all created expiration dates in our heads because the updates of the past were almost on a regular basis. I'm sure ED loves their customers as much as we love them, and when they do release the next build everyone will be happy again. So party on with beta 4, or 3 if you like. Kick on the TARS and blow up bad guys while landing your ventilated hog back home. The next build is getting polished to perfection, and day is bringing us closer to the next best thing. :D
  12. I just ordered this baby, hoping it will take care of my GAU lag issues until B6. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130620&nm_mc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel&cm_mmc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel-_-Content-_-text-_-
  13. I think we're all just too excited to get our hands on the next beta, so excited that it sounds as if we're not greatful to be able to help test the betas. I personaly hope the next beta will come out soon, but if not it could only mean that ED is trying to make it even better. I highly doubt they are "keeping" it from us because they like to watch us have anxiety attacks. :)
  14. Keywords make me paranoid. We need a graphologist to decode this hidden message. :detective:
  15. Me thinks a DCS fan boi (i'm one too) planted this comment.
  16. Some of us pilots are on buisness trips and will be home shortly. Very cool idea and I hope I win the book :)
  17. I haven't seen this shared yet, enjoy. http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/features/58847/Take-A-Flight-W-Ohm-In-Eagle-Dynamics-DCS-A-10C
  18. Yes, but only for myself. I figure if I post it in the garbage thread it will help me convince myself. :helpsmilie: It's not working :D I need mower to post more "release the beta for _____" to cheer me up. :P Or... I just need to go buy a new video card to see if it eliminates my gau lag blues to get me by.
  19. The hype for me is fading, not as eager to get b6 anymore. Thank god.
  20. If I were China I would do the same thing, unfortunatly. If I were John Lennon in charge of Chinas budget, I would invest all that money in re-newable energy R&D. Allways cool to see modern AC designs, maybe there will be a DCS module of this bird someday. :D
  21. If you pre-purchased the sim, the link will become available in the downloads section after you login in @ http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com
  22. Leaked screen shot of next DCS module, we all knew what it would be. Since the tester guys are all chillin on the forums, my bet is that it's been sent to the packaging team. I hope they compare the patched version vs. the full version this time.
  23. You definatly caused god to kill lots of little kittens.
  24. I've wondered why these forums go down from time to time... :)
  25. And now we know what the next DCS module will be. :pilotfly:
