Very helpful for MOOSE A2A dispatcher. Hoggit has a nice wiki page that covers most, but doesn't include the new air bases/fields for the new version of PG. Until the wiki article is updated, here's the list. Abu Musa Island Airport Bandar Abbas Intl Bandar Lengeh Tunb Island AFB Havadarya Lar Airbase Qeshm Island Sirri Island Tunb Kochak Kerman Airport Shiraz International Airport Sas Al Nakheel Airport Bandar-e-Jask airfield Abu Dhabi International Airport Al-Bateen Airport Kish Island Airfield Al Ain International Airport Lavan Island Airport Jiroft Airport Al Dhafra Dubai Intl Al Maktoum Intl Fujairah IntlKhasab Al Minhad AB Sharjah Intl Sir Abu Nuayr

My opinion as VR user; Continue to have spotting the way it is, and if people want to limit their visual ability they can adjust their settings in game accordingly. I've seen other games do something similar with scaling options.

Thanks guys! I used the MOOSE method and it works well. spawn_convoy = SPAWN:New( "convoy" ):InitLimit( 4, 10 ):SpawnScheduled( 10, 1 ) At first nothing was spawning because my group size was 4 trucks and InitLimit was set to (2,10). When the first parameter of InitLimit is equal to the number of units in the convoy group, everything works. I've attached the mission so others can figure this out if needed. pg_convoy_respawn_moose.miz convoy_respawn.lua

Hello, I would like to make a mission where a convoy moves along the road of Sir Abu Ny'air Island (PG) continuously. When the entire convoy is destroyed, a new one spawns and moves along the same route. What's the best method to get this done?
-
Well, hopefully we will get capacity of 8 clients per carrier back. Maybe the future will allow 12 someday.

Hi All, Some update iterations ago, I could get four client 18's to start on ramp and four clients 18's to start on catapults which was great for eight players. Now it appears that the max is four? Am I Missing something?

I have the r3volution pit and buttkicker gamer2. Luckily I also bought the TM warthog stick mount for mounting between the legs, which is a great place to mount the buttkicker transducer mount. If I didn't have that, I don't know where a good mounting point would be since it seems to work best when the transducer is vertical. Photo of my pit attached. -
Same for me

Thanks! I had mistakenly enabled simultaneous output. After disabling, no more error. That would be a nice feature for sure. The inability to adjust rumble level was caused from my inability to notice the big red letters. It was the first time I loaded the F-15C with SSA running, and at that time the F-15C wasn't displayed (only generic jets). Now that I can see the F-15C, I can adjust everything. Thanks a bunch for the fast support! -

First of all, thanks to both of you for making the buttkicker gamer 2 work so well with DCS! I do notice two minor issues so far. One is when I launch SSA, I get an error saying that it can’t connect to some USB device (maybe the seat cover with little motors?), and vive cushion is also mentioned in the error. I only have the Buttkicker device and use Oculus rift. Any ideas how to prevent this error when I launch SSA? The second is when I fly F-15C. There seems to be nearly constant and strong vibrations during flight without gear, flaps, AB, or gears deployed. I disabled all “shutter” effects for generic jets but still feel the strong vibrations. Thanks again for making this awesome product. The sound mod add on was worth the purchase, and I plan to make donation for SSA when I get home from work today. -
Final observation Caught this in the log when the problem occurs.

Hello, I've noticed this problem for a while and not sure if it's reported yet. Problem ME doesn't recognize save after adjusting properties (position, flight assignments, etc.) of naval units. Reproduce steps 1.) Open ME with Georgia 2.) Insert group of naval units (Stennis, Tarawa, Oliver, Normandy) 3.) Assign four ship F-18C flight to take off from runway of Stennis 4.) Assign four ship flight of F-18C flight to take off from ramp of Stennis 5.) Assign four ship flight of AV-8B N/A to take off from ramp of Tarawa 6.) Save mission file 7.) Adjust property (position, flight assignments, etc.) of any naval fleet within group. 8.) Click save icon 9.) Observe that the icon does not go back to normal color. 10.) Exit ME and will prompt to save before exit. Workaround Although there is no indication of save, it actually does. User must close DCSW and re-open in ME.

Tree cat has just confirmed update.

Even though not the C, still very cool. Thanks for sharing!

If anyone else finds this issue when searching for something to the effect of "erratic tdc slew" or the like, I found a solution for me. When programming my TM warthog for first time, I normally tune the throttle mini-stick axis curve to prevent over-sensitive movements. For the AV8B, adjustments to the default curve other than inversion seems to break smooth TDC slewing. Point of post If you have erratic TDC slewing in AV8B, set the curve to default linear slope and see if that helps.

I agree that DCS with VR is an amazing experience. Things seem very life sized. I'll never forget when I hopped in a A-10 for the first time, looked back at the left engine and had that 'wow military jets are quite big' feeling that I only used to get at air shows.

More specially, following the climb at 4:00.

I hope ED is listening! Ability to late-activate smoke effects would be excellent. Ideally this effect would naturally occur when a building is on fire, and then extinguish after some time.

A question for Wags and or ED about the DCS: F/A-18C!
evilnate replied to Spudknocker's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
Attending annual air shows and watching a AC perform that you know how to operate in a flight sim. This is one of the many reasons why i'm happy ED pursed the A-10 and F/A-18C. I don't see many 4's, 14's, 16's, 117's, or even 15's at the air shows anymore. :pilotfly: -
I think these would make great targets for strike missions. Even better to make triggered commands that change 3 states (missile horizontal, missile vertical readying for launch, and missile launch). Skip to 0:20

@ Z_432 - Wallpaper would help, but the VR goggles takes care of the immersion. :) @ Mr_Burns - Either I have the best wife in the world, or the worst carpenter skills. The articulating keyboard/mouse tray does have a tiny bit of wobble, but not as much as I imagined. The good thing is that there's push-pull hardware at the base which allows you to level it. I also have a G27, so I mounted the MFDs and switch box the the front plate with industrial grade Velcro. If I want to mount the steering wheel, just tear off the instruments and replace with wheel. :pilotfly:

For years I was very satisfied with my x52pro and trackir at my desk. The x52 broke, so I replaced it with a harthog, pedals, tm cougar MFD bezel, oculus touch, and dsp usb switch box. After some flights I realized that my setup was a ergo disaster. With seat at maximum height my hands were almost as high as my shoulders while on HOTAS, and all the USB gadgets would slide around on the desk making it hard to know what i'm touching while VR goggles on. Decided enough was enough, and started designing a home-made playseat. Wife reviewed the design and predicted it would look like garbage after factoring in my wood working abilities. Green light received to buy a kool chair, went with the Obutto R3volution. Here's my new setup after first assembly attempt.
