  1. This might be a known issue, but I didn't see it when I searched. When I enter the game, I get 60-80 FPS. After I launch mavericks at armor, no performance hit. Whenever I drop a CBU on armor, the frame rate drops to 2 FPS for a good 5 seconds. The highest FPS after this, no matter what is 30 FPS. If I look at the smoking ruins of the wreak, the frame rate drops to 18 FPS. Windows 7 64b Intel i5 4670 @ 3.4Ghz 16GB ram GTX 770 (2GB)
  2. Ni hao QQ user. After reading the following post, it looks like ED needs community members to create the localization.   3. Does anyone know why all FC3 missions put you in a AC that isn't intended? Load F-15 mission, placed in SU25 Play F-15 campaign, placed in SU27 This has been out for a long time and still can't play SP?
  4. If ED is working on a dynamic campaign, I hope there will be a way to measure the impact of completed or failed packages. For example airbases, factories, and other war support entities' effectiveness or reduced when the local power plant or substation is damaged. EW capabilities are reduced when command and control targets are damaged. This with combined arms would make a masterpiece.
  5. As long as ED makes the decisions that continue to make their profits grow, I am happy. After they improve the core module enough to allow reduced development cycle times for all content (modules, terrain) and implement a quality "dynamic" campaign, they should be in a good position to rake it in.
  6. Paratroopers would be a very nice feature, if it doesn't impede the progress of their next module.
  7. I think a Vietnam scenario would be nice, after ED completes their modern plans. I would love to see a modern fictional theater involving the Koreans, China, Japan, and the US.
  8. Hi Brad, I think those versions are for the standalone version of DCS A10C (not part of DCS world). Try installing DCS world, and then the A10C module and see if the performance is improved.
  9. An easy way to get a "feel" of air defense is to make yourself little training missions with them in it, and you starting out in the air just a few nm outside their reach. Try different altitudes and terrain masking. It really helps me accelerate the learning curve.

  11. Decent review, but I wish it was done after the MP stability and locality issues are sorted out. In my opinion, DCS world is still in beta. Or maybe the beta modules bring it down grade it to a beta. He did acknowledge that the ED team is hard at work and committed to continuous improvements.

  13. I am happy to see #54, but I am concerned that the problem with MP clients not getting RWR warnings (intermittent, but fails most of the time) with AI entities. This seems to be happening with all FC3 aircraft. I fly with several people, and we are all experiencing this problem. Flying F-15C coop missions against AI with your buddies should be fun, but when the clients are getting popped with R27ERs without notice it takes the fun right out of it. Why is this not on the list? Is it on the list and I am blind? Do I need to roll back video drivers or something? Should I post some you tube videos? I LOVE the DCS series, but I HATE getting killed without warning due to a bug. :helpsmilie:

  15. I have had little success in killing a 4 ship of AI controlled SU-27s with TWS at 20 miles in FC3.
  16. In my experience launching a 120C at max range is only effective against targets that are flying straight at you, and doesn't change direction after they detect your launch. If you do launch a 120C at max range, and the target changes direction, you can kiss it good bye. The only advantage to firing one at max range is to try and make the enemy take evasive maneuvers. For TWS (multi-launch) engagements, it is only effective if you launch very close to the enemy targets (pit-bull range).

  18. Thanks, I guess it didn't catch my eye because I was searching for the F-15C This seems to be a problem with all. I also failed to mention that any FC3 aircraft (clients) do not get a warning from any AI controlled entity (including SAM).

  22. Most likely already reported, but in case it's not clients do not get RWR warnings of missile launch from AI controlled entities. Only the host does.
  23. I have the same problem. The only thing worse than having to play a mission over again, is a FAM mission.
