So many possible options: F/A-22 F-15 C/E F-16 C F/A-18E I could see the potential for the DOD to contract ED for a DTS for all of the above platforms. The next few months are going to be a wild ride of speculation.

Agreed; people QQed over ERI I'm sure the whining will reach a fever pitch when true capabilities of the Eagle and Flanker are displayed in a potential DCS module.

33 Pages in 2 days. Jim Mack created a monster :megalol: . But to echo Bobbero's thoughts ED is a business; they have to do what's best for their bottom line not what will satisfy every flight-simmers virtual wet-dream ideal aircraft.

IF ED does a F/A-18 it's going to be the Echo version as VRS did this with a 2 man team, no reason why ED and it's competent employees couldn't be able to surpass the quality of the VRS title (which is phenomenal I might add). But we are all speculating aren't we :smilewink:; I still think it's going to be a F-16 :music_whistling:

Sure the purist among us will pick up whatever ED releases if given the opportunity. But yeah I understand your logic, which is why I believe we will see a F-16 (at some point).

I understand that restraint is in order however how much North Korean aggression should South Korea endure? I mean North Korean's military hierarchy seems to have just as more if not more power than "The Dear Leader". The only inevitable solution is regime change by means of military force. Everyone wants to dance around that outcome but it is the only outcome. North Korea has nothing to lose and thus they will continue to push and prod the South to figure out where that "red-line" is. And the South in turn will do nothing because they have a lot more to lose than North Korea. I mean let's be honest here; North Korean's are starving, are oppressed and are being isolated from the rest of the world if "The Dear Leader" really cared about his people he would quit with the assanine chest beating.
