Yeah I agree; everyone is entitled to their opinion but I mean the sim is still a work in progress several beta-testers have already stated that the sim looks much better with HDR ON as opposed to being OFF. Let's critique when the cake is baked.

You want: 1) Setup.exe 2) Setup-1.bin 3) Setup-2.bin Run setup.exe first after all three files are downloaded. Keep in mind that you need an exisiting installation of LOMAC in order to install FC2 successfully.

It would be a challenge soloing but it is do able. I manage quite well in Free Falcon 5 flying the F-15E (yes I know that the it is a very simplified representation of the actual workload of a WSO) but I think it'll be a worthwhile adventure to tackle for ED. But we are outside the scope of this discussion as it is about the August 16th A-10 screenshots.

Having the handle "Hog Driver" is a little deceptive but to each his own.

Personally I think that ED should focus on the DCS series and move into the future not look back to waste resources on FC2. I guess it's all sells driven really if FC2 is selling strong then it would make sense to continue to support FC2 . Either way I will support ED's decision.

Well the terrain SDK gives us a better chance of seening more third-party tools introduced. With anything time will tell...

Wow what a very close call.

Actually the LSO was not to blame. The pilots AOA indicator was reversed (installed incorrectly) so while he though he was too fast (red chevron next to his hud) he was actually too slow; if you listen to the LSO he tells the pilot to "work it on speed" (follow the amber doughnut). He tried to correct this by gaining altitude and slowing but he was supposed to speed up (remember his AOA indicator was reversed). When the LSO tells the pilot to wave off and depart to the left (to not strike the tower) he is already in the region of reverse command and he departs to the right.
