If your on a budget get a GTX 460. It performs great in the open-beta.

You may want to upgrade your CPU. I would recommend a Core 2 Quad Q8400. A GTX 460 will do wonders. I had a friend who went from a Radeon 4830 (comperable to your current card) to a GTX 460 and his FPS in cockpit in the Engine-Startup training missions tripled and he now averages 30-40 FPS with most settings on High.

I'm getting great FPS. Nearly everything maxed here (Heat Blur and Mirrors are turned off) and I average FPS in the 30-40 FPS range never drops below 25 no matter the circumstance.

Wonderful video and thanks for sharing. Remember to disengage nose-wheel steering once you pick up enough speed to get some rudder authority when taking off. Trust me; I've had some unfortunate accidents leaving it on and using the rudder when rolling down the runway ^^

It may look similar to Black Shark without all the bells and whistles but comparing DCS A-10C to DCS Black Shark is like comparing an apple to an orange. Cosmetic changes are not the only changes that went on jtmedina. Again as many have said the Open Beta that we are currently using is not OPTIMIZED. So the FPS that you are seeing now may not be indicative of the FPS that you will see in the Gold version. It would be more constructive if someone created a benchmark (created a mission, decided on global graphical settings to test, etc) for everyone to use to compare graphical performance.

I'll still be playing Falcon to get my F-16 fix going. But ED has done an incredible job with DCS A-10C so I may forget about Falcon for quite a while =)

That's incorrect. The Super Hornet is informally referred to as the "Rhino" to distinguish it from earlier model "legacy" Hornets and prevents confusion in radio calls. This aids safe flight operations, since the catapult and arresting systems must be set differently for the heavier Super Hornet. So the Rhino nickname is not exclusive to the Foxtrot version of the Super Hornet but all versions of the Super Hornet.
