  1. I beg to differ ;)
  2. With the global economy the way it is now I'm a bit more conscientious with how I spend. $30.00 is not expensive; I guess the only thing that irks me is the delay but as an aspiring software engineer that's understandable. How about a suggestion. As opposed to a big roll out of features how about a micro-transaction scheme that allows the end-user to be satisfied in the interim and ED to have revenue coming in the interim? For example the new Su-25 3-D model would be available to users of FC2.0 for "X" amount of dollars. I'm just throwing this out there; might be a bit too late for this sort of idea as I do not know the intricacies of code that ED is using.
  3. That's incorrect I'm running Flaming Cliffs on Windows 7 Professional X64 without any problems. I just downloaded the Starforce driver and I was good to go.

Well keep in mind this sim has only been in development since September of last year; I'm sure the graphics will come along.
  5. Gotta love the awesome job that ED has done with the damage model.
  6. Frederf and Miguez thanks for the awesome explanations. Though I already know how to utilize the PVI-800 you guys reinforced what I already knew and provided an excellent explanation to the community!
  7. Doesn't the KA-50 do this automatically; I've never had to change between the two modes.
  8. Just seen the updated video. Awesome setup!
  9. Guys let's not act like "Chicken Little" the fact of the matter is that we (the United States of America) have already been to the moon; what is there to be accomplished be reliving the same achievement decades later? The President made the right decision; NASA gets more funding and money is spent wisely. NASA has had a poor grasp on it's budget for years and has had cost overruns on just about every project. Take your time NASA, innovate, get a handle on spending and aim for Mars!
  10. At least we know fixing it is in the pipeline thanks for the update ;)

It's a new IP and looking very promising at that. This is an automatic purchase for me.
  12. Lotus Simulation's L-39. I'm really enjoying this model in FSX.
  13. I'm waiting on the scan :D
  14. Mission designer's utilizing the current ME to it's potential is a good stop-gap in the interim. I see the lack of collision detection with trees; and the inability to use trees to avoid search radars and an enemies' line of sight a more pressing issue.
  15. The Su-25T, Su-25KM and Su-25UBP are no-goes for obvious reasons. If there ever is a "DCS Frogfoot" the sim will more than likely model the Su-25/Su-25K.
  16. I was thinking more or less the same thing "Three monitors and no TrackIR?!?!". But sweet set-up; thanks for sharing.
  17. Great you are going to get EtherealN started :(
  18. It's amazing that he went unnoticed for so long :noexpression:
  19. Thank you for the info.
  20. But this is my rationale for DCS Frogfoot: Most of the FM work is already done (that's evident in the awesome AFM that we already have). It does not have any complex avionics systems so I do not believe that ED will have a hard time modeling it in great detail. People have been griping about the turn around time between modules; this in theory should have a quick turn around time.
  21. You about summed up my love of the Frogfoot.
