  1. max, you have TQS? i have one too. it is sweet. i have a warthog with the original slew upgrade. great mod @Deltaalphalima1.
  2. hello. find the DCS folder within Saved Games folder. it may be called DCS.openbeta. rename it by adding .BAK to it. restart DCS. a new folder will be created. then copy INPUT folder over from backup to new folder.
  3. مع السلامة 再見 au revoir auf wiedersehen arrivederci farvel しつれいします 안녕 再见 लाउंज वैगन ऑफ़र
  4. amen Max redact personally identifiable info then. haha Max. there are definitely some frequent fliers in the forums. people that are constantly having issues. i never understand why they come here for help and then bicker about the suggestions. it just wastes everyone's time. including the OP.
  5. hello, check this link. https://www.windowscentral.com/software-apps/windows-11/how-to-manage-virtual-memory-on-windows-11
  6. I also use two mice on the system. I did change polling rate for both to 500. I never change it. Though previous poster mentioned wireless. My two are wired. I wonder if that affects the problem. I am old school and have never used wireless in gaming.
  7. still likely a bind conflict. you could test this by renaming your DCS folder in Saved Games to .BAK to keep safe. then restart game and go into controls and test.
  8. your dcs.log only shows 1 hour of flight and ends prematurely. this means windows ended the dcs process; as indicated by the windows events you posted. and the gpu driver is still being called out as failing. 2025-10-13 15:13:28.621 WARNING EDCORE (Main): hypervisor is active 2025-10-13 15:13:28.621 WARNING EDCORE (Main): CPU HAS PARKED LOGICAL CORES (this can be source of stuttering and reduced performance especially on hybrid CPUs with P/E-cores)
  9. its only a test. things do go bad. i believe you can go into the nvidia driver and enable debug from menu. that will temporarily disable factory OC. again. just a test. it could be an indication of cooling issues. null
  10. i did not check the other files you posted. however the latest shows the video driver is crashing. the log shows you have parked cores, an error about possible manual shading, and the crash just after attempting to load 'lightPalette.tif'. i do not see in previous parts of this thread. do you have OC on video card?
  11. hello. is this the default livery? if so, a repair would fix it. do you have any mods?
  12. haha. maybe you did not live through early iterations, forgotten, or casually ignored the first releases of directx. i cannot remember how many times i had to reinstall it to fix an issue. i casually ignore those times until someone reminds me. Vielen Dank! fun aside. you are spot on. windows is fundamentally bad at gaming unless you can get the settings right. i personally do not have any issues or can work them out on my own. the benefit of being a sysadmin since floppies and sneakernet days.
  13. hello, i commend you for taking the time to troubleshoot your issue and share your solution. many users do not realize that there are indeed underlying issues that will affect DCS. so many users just blame DCS. of course there are problems with DCS itself, though it is unfair to make wholesale unverified claims. thank you for your efforts.
  14. hello tracks are notorious for being inaccurate. it has been this way for ages. i have found in my case, disconnecting your controllers to run the track. that way there is no input on your AC. maybe it is placebo. seems to work.
  15. hello, glad you have it sorted. you can see your setting at the top of the DCS.LOG. something like this 2025-03-26 13:17:56.384 WARNING EDCORE (Main): CPU HAS PARKED LOGICAL CORES (this can be source of stuttering and reduced performance especially on hybrid CPUs with P/E-cores) if it does not, you are in like Flynn.
  16. i am couple years from retiring from 40 years of being a sysadmin. when i started we had no network except for a sneakernet. no viruses unless you had a bad floppy disk. so i matured along with the tech around me. i personally do not have any qualms about adding exceptions. i know the false positives are because DCS has to protect their intellectual property from thieves. these DLLs will eventually end up in safe lists. but that takes time.
  17. hey i resemble that remark friend LOL. what is wrong with potato pics?
  18. hello, attach your latest DCS.LOG from \Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs OR \Saved Games\DCS\Logs there are probably some clues.
  19. power management has been noted in many posts as a possible solution to stuttering. i have my power plan set to ultimate.
  20. hello this is likely an award for the oddist issue i have seen on these forums. i am not really sure where to even start. are you by chance opening DCS shortcut as admin? maybe a long repair of DCS will help. i doubt there is anything to see in it but can you attach your DCS.LOG?
  21. hello pretty much every AV solutions will want block DCS files. especially after patches before the DCS files make into the safe category. the idea is add exceptions to not scan the DCS folders. do this only if you are comfortable with it. there are two camps fighting it out about this. some say do not and you should not have to add exceptions. and another says do it, why not trust DCS? AV has to ride a thin rail to be either too stringent or too weak.
  22. A-10A will not ever get clickable cockpit. one also cannot purchase A-10C. A-10C II is available as the replacement and has much better capabilities than either of the earlier models.
  23. @Raviar @sleighzy sleighzy's fix is likely the true fix for the issue. you should give sleighzy the solution; while my suggestion was merely a stage in troubleshooting. i still use the launcher on my system. but only to get into the sim. all it does for me is some promotional visuals and delays me getting into the sim. as suggested you can go into that file and revert back to true to test.
  24. hello. thanks for making another topic. i suggest going into DCS folder in Saved Games. Find the options.lua file. open it in Notepad within that file find the line ["launcher"] = true, and change to ["launcher"] = false, see if DCS opens.
  25. hello. it would be best for you to post a new topic. this one is solved.
