i have a suggestion if you have a second monitor. i use this when i am troubleshooting missions. go to this site and download "logViewer" https://www.softpagehomeware.com/ it is a German company so you may be presented with German language. Zeit, Deutsch zu lernen open this application. there is a way to watch the log real time. put the log file folder in the monitored folder section. when DCS starts you will see real time when things happen in the background. you can also create filters for key words / phrases. i.e. error, warning, app. @MAXsenna turned me on to this and i am glad he did.null

can you also attach the crash zip that is in the same folder as the dcs.log? the log you provided does not show much info.

hello check this thread. this is an easy enough change to test and then revert. also check that these two are off. SSLR = Screen Space Local Reflections SSAO = Screen Space Ambient Occlusion

thanks for the update. you seem to suggest that the server you were on could be part of the issue. what happens on another server or trying in SP? i did not previously mention disabling any mods. mods can cause issues like you report.

suggest you post your entire logs.

something i did not notice in all these posts. what AV software do you use? if nothing else, it is likely defender. either way i suggest you add your game install folder to exceptions. i went from 2 minutes to 30 seconds to load. can you post another dcs.log?

hello. is it possible that the controllers went off because of inactivity? what is your Windows power plan. the controllers may be going to "sleep". i have a little program called "DCS Witching Utility". there is a button to copy inputs. i do it at every update and when the video card does an update. I have witnessed DCS changing the file attributes on these two folders. not sure why

hello. i have two monitors. one wide screen for DCS and the other for whatever (like in your case). i do not have this issue you are having. what windows power settings profile are you using? post your latest dcs.log too. it may have some clues.

hello. you may be seeing an effect caused by MSAA. try DLAA. also make sure in NCP have VSYNC application controlled and then you can enable in DCS if you wish.

I just helped a user that confirmed the Hercules mod was the cause of crashing. Try replacing with a official AC.

normally it is best to remove all mods. run repair. add mods back one by one until DCS crashes. of course keep track of what you change.

hello. ED is constantly attempting improvements which will sometimes break things for some users. they are especially trying to improve track system, which has been a big subject of contention for many years. i would suggest posting both of your DCS.LOGs and the TRK causing the issue. there are literally thousands of players that do not have problems with DCS that can try the TRK. this can be the baseline for troubleshooting.
