  1. you have a massive amount of yellow triangles. @Flappie is correct. you should unplug all usb devices except what is totally needed to play the sim. all those problem devices have to be messing with things. AND
  2. i guess this is the answer. i deal with CUI at my office. there are standards for marking these documents. based on level of sensitivity. Top Secret, Secret, Confidential, etc. it is the responsibility of provider of the document to mark them with the correct markings. if a document is found online at a (suspected) reputable website, yet it is not marked, is that a violation? how does a censor at ED know? it is ITAR restricted if it is not marked as such? i am not trying to be crass. i see stuff all the time online looking for good reference material that are not marked, but seem that they should be. though just my opinion.
  3. hello. please post your DCS.LOG. it may provide some clues. also autoupdate_log.txt. this is in the main ED DCS install folder. another solution is disable anti-virus temporarily.
  4. hello. you should start another topic because your problem may be different. also when you post, please find and post your DCS.LOG. we cannot see what you submitted to DCS support.
  5. glad to help. good luck and clear skies!
  6. hello. see if this helps https://www.thewindowsclub.com/window-auto-tuning-in-windows-10
  7. Hello. Please upload your latest DCS.LOG for review. This is found in the DCS folder in Saved Games. There may some clues.
  8. this is key for me. i like the clickable so it is easy for me to transition to one of the other AC modules i have. i have a little mouse pad tray mounted to desk in the center of my desk. it retracts under the desk when i am using computer for something besides DCS. i have a G-pro gaming mouse. it also has buttons that can be mapped. after all a IRL pilot has to take their hand off one or the other HOTAS to click a switch or press a button. i also saw another post of a user that attached a wireless track pad to a kneeboard strap.
  9. hello. see below for one solution. Go To Windows Search Search Regedit Right click and select run as administrator Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Open SYSTEM Open CurrentControlSet Open Control Click GraphicsDrivers Right Click And Select New In Windows Registry Select DWORD (32-bit) Value Type TdrLevel (Write it exactly T and L should be capital) Double click on TdrLevel Make sure value data is 0 Now restart your pc take a look at this link. on the page there are several tips for this type of error. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/startup/ EDIT i also see a bunch of IC Fail. you may want to try a repair.
  10. hello @DrSparrius towards the end of the log before it crashed you have a bunch of 2023-01-27 19:01:49.736 ERROR DX11BACKEND (11584): Failed to create shader resource view for coremods/aircraft/mirage-f1/liveries/mirage-f1eq/iriaf 3-6202 _ 2013 gray/miragef1-common_5_IRIAF_1_RoughMet.dds. Reason: Not enough memory resources are available to complete this operation. I would first set your pagefile static https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/196924-page-file-tip-by-mustang/ put 32768 in both boxes. null
  11. unfortunately it is best to have a DCS.LOG to review. the attached ZIP file is normally created with an iteration of the DCS.LOG file. it is missing from the ZIP. try the steps per a post @Flappie made to another user with crashing.
  12. make sure you are using the same username and password in game and the account you used to purchase. it is based on the user account used to purchase.
  13. only the submitter of the thread can mark it as solution. there are def differences between the video and what can be done now. though it did answer the question the submitter asked.
  14. in the last line of the DCS.LOG file in one of the zip files i agree with max. check saved games and / or pagefile.
  15. the f-16 is not known for its altitude. F-16A/B Fighting Falcon Fighter from NAVY.MIL the altitude record for a jet is held by a MIG25 in 1973. F-104 in 1963 was higher but rocket assisted. with that said i would think the F-16 could make 80k IRL. but not sure. i doubt anyone would be trying it to have any empirical data.
  16. i read this post a way back and started noticing the donut. damned if it doesn't work. i appreciate the little tip. i used to only use the donut when landing.
  17. another thing i have sometimes noticed is when lasing the same spot, more precise OR at least different.
  18. hello. i just checked and it is indeed Numpad Enter. this screen shot is for F-16. also take a look at your SnapViews.lua in savedgames\dcs\config\view. there are sections for each AC. you could rename this file and it should get created. not sure. i am attaching mine for comparison. SnapViews.lua
  19. hello. i also use TIR. every time i get into AC i center TIR and the view is slightly farther away from HUD than what i consider normal. i do a "Zoom normal" mapped to a joy hat and the FOV goes to what i expect.
  20. hello. yes you can run an MP server on your own PC and then test. this would test amount of people (only one) and lag. being local there would be no lag. many people do a local MP server because it uses another CPU thread to run MP server and then one for your actual client. see this link. Flappy has some instructions.
  21. just a suggestion. try the same mission on your PC as an MP instance. there are a few different reasons the performance issues can show up. self GPU/CPU/RAM. which is not the case given your test. the amount of players on an MP server. loading as an MP server on your PC. can test this. or plain lag. this can also be tested.
