i did a finer look at your log and compared it mine on the left are my settings and the left are yours. the red font indicates settings you may change to improve performance. you can make a copy of your options.lua and directly edit the values using a text editor.

it is free to upgrade from 10 to 11. no key needed. i recently did my pc. i had no issues. there are a few different ways to get it. best from windows updates.

being in china should not matter but who knows. are you able to ask your ISP? the speed of the download should not be affected by change in DNS. your computer would query DNS to get the appropriate IPs for the canonical name CDN... then DCS will use that DNS to connect to get the updates. you did this step correct? "reset you home network equipment" ISP may have a bad route too. this could cause slowness. but the DNS set to a root server makes your situation confusing.

hello. sounds like a double binding. but not completely sure. find F10 in the common controls and make sure to change it. DCS has no logic to prevent double bind keys. DCS also uses context cascading menus. like you said, pressing f10 in the comm menu does something completely different. i am tagging a cohort that i believe still uses voice attack. he may have insight. @MAXsenna any input to this input error? (see what i did there?)

hello. are you having the same loss of control with your other modules? of course omitting the super carrier as the start of the aircraft. if so, then i suspect a controller issue. it would be odd that more than one controller fails. that said, there is likely another issue. are the controllers connected to a powered hub? now another idea is that the controllers are disconnecting when DCS is running. you should "disable hot plug" in DCS options. can you share your latest DCS.LOG for examination?

i have an alienware r12 which has an older mobo than your system. it is ddr4 with 4 sticks of 32. when i purchased it in april 2021 the system propaganda stated it would run at 3400. when i did the initial setup, the speed was show 2800. i called dell and they had me update the bios, and then i was able to get XMP1 enabled to get the 3400. maybe update of your bios will allow you to enable XMP.

hello. not sure if it helps. although i have no need to boot into safe mode for windows, i am running the latest geforce driver 581.15 for my 3090. no issues with DCS. note that some game titles are checking the system before installing their application. most recently for me was BF6 beta. i have always kept on the latest nvidia all along, and never had DCS problems. but again, i have not needed to boot to safe mode.

hello it could be drive space. keep the saved games folder you noted. this is the most important. DCS itself can be repaired from any condition. no need to reinstall. the backup folders are customized files that are moved to backup. these are seen as mods and are replaced by the standard files. my suggestion is wait until you get your drive and install it to the point Windows knows it is there. then come back and we can get the rest sorted. i needed a new drive. i went from 2 TB to a 4 TB. i cloned it with Acronis. Windows never knew the difference. it may cost a little but the avoided headaches will be worth it.
