Hey, How is the new external model of A-10C II in VR? I am crazy that this is most important for me at the moment? Already bought anyway but I am playing on Stable only. So anyone tell me please? pretty please
-
Shibiswag, are you sure the dcs is the right game for you? So rage..
-
As razo+r told you. Make sure you are on a friendly airfield. Neutral is not enough and you can ofcourse start on neutral. Quick missions are mostly on neutral airfields and without correct comm frequencies presets.

Guys, what do you think about this one: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/poaeng-childrens-armchair-birch-veneer-almas-natural-10116552/ (look on design) I think this could be a good foundation to build on. (they have the adult version too ofcourse, i just didnt time to look for on english page) otherwise I have been thinking about this year ago, and the CAR SEAT seems to be best choice. But i didnt solved it anyway and then i found this armchair - I appreciate on it that it has some moving capabilities which can be interesting in VR. (rocking chair its called ?, if translator work good) So maybe its time to finally choose. Car seat or something like from the link? Last: I have tried gaming chair, it is a hell choice. Dont. (Probably dont take any chair on wheels, it doesnt work well with VR, as you will be shifting your point of view a lot, especially when u yousing rudder pedals :-) Thanks for your opinions

Just found the Vaicomm today. I had same issues. Fixed the problem. When you choosing PATH for the game, be sure to SET the RELEASE x BETA version according to name of the folder and savegames. In past I installed the OPEN BETA, but reverted to RELEASE by command prompt. My Folder and savegame are named Openbeta. So, i change the version of the game as BETA even that i have RELEASE. Because it check the name of the folders and not actual version i would say. Confirm if it worked. Thanks I go fight with the english accent now :-)

And the problem is solved :-) I have been used to see two digits as a runway and three as a bearing, in awacs calls there is always "0XX format" if the bearing is less then 100, like 090 etc. And since it was for landing, I used to treat it like runway number. Probably some language barrier for me. Also, the actual landing course is ofset a little from the BRC as I learned today from Wags video. That lead me to misunderstanding it too. Becuase it simply didnt fit exactly when i tried earlier. I just remembered the course back then. Thanks for clarification.

Found out, that it works ok on the Supercarrier included missions.
-
By editor it moves 35 km/h, bearing +/- 060° (Through the inferno persian gulf Single player map)

Hello, Can anybody help me with what Am I doing wrong, that i get BRC 480 all the time? I was having those on Stennis in last stable, I got this on suppercarrier at current stable. I was trying to follow wags CASE I recovery procedure but I never ever got a different BRC than 480. Probably doing something wrong, as I didnt found anyone else asking for it. Thank you in advance.

Check the manual to motherboard (related to nvme). and play with bios.
-
My guess: 1) BIOS - load optimized default settings and start from there (Dont do this if you dont have any idea what BIOS is and how to work with it at least in basic) 2) When I had new computer and some of these happend, it was always because of CPU cooler 3) On the other hand when I got 1080Ti, it was PSU What wattage is your PSU? Are you playing in VR ?
-
Just reporting - I gave openbeta another try from stable 1) its slutters even with same FPS as stable, these artefacts making headaches in VR no matter how long you are with VR already. 2) Its damn over-exposured, white colors are extreme, and with clouds appearing and disappearing "strangely" which is old bug, its nasty, cuz they cathing the eye. 3) the green HUD is less visible (Is the over-exposrue made with more green saturation?) I am not angry, just reporting, as being used to stable for a while made my senses for it "better". Anyway, I am rolling back to stable, as this is not acceptable for me. And rather stick with the current stable version as "end product" rather than have this "open-beta" thing once it hits stable.

Option to remove multiple modules at once in DCS module manager
Wexler replied to sirrah's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Haha, just did that yesterday. the funnies is, that i start up DCS forced without VR. it uninstall the module and restart to VR, now that is some real boring. Fortunately, there is no much modules I can test:-) Anyway, I am very happy that ED finally made some proper trial. Even that i have no room for testing anymore. So much planes to remember and re-learn already:-D -
Rift-S, Is it possible to adjust axis like on picture?
Wexler replied to Wexler's topic in Virtual Reality
Thank you for your advice. Unfortunately, this only consider from your head position where is forward and height. (2 axis) same as in oculus home settings. I am setting this every time I enter the airframe by buttons anyway (mostly how far or close I sit in game). But there is currently not the settings for axis which could make me look in to the ceiling an in VR see forward. -
Rift-S, Is it possible to adjust axis like on picture?
Wexler replied to Wexler's topic in Virtual Reality
you only defining height and where is forward, everything else is automatically. -
Hello, I would like to set up my axis so, When I look more upwards in real, in game I would actually look straight. At the moment, I have neck pains, because when looking straight or on gauges I have very un-ergonomical position with my head. I am always setting up my camera when enter airplane, but this axis i didnt found out how to adjust. It would help me very much. Is it set-able in general configuration of Headset or maybe in game? Thank you for advices. Wexler Edit: Sorry for picture rotation. Cant manage to have it correct. Edit2: Problem for un-ergonomical position starts, when I am setting my Rift-S on my head with relation to have the best "sweet-spot". I have that strange feelings since I switched from Rift to Rift-S. Probably figured it out now with that damn sweet-spot forcing me to have the Rift-S facing upwards on my head, meaning I have to face downwards to see straight. (An almost looking into my stomach position when looking on left/right horizontal panels).

Same problem, got stuck on "Bridge Take-off 1". nothing helped me to proceed. But maybe good idea to switch on stable, since i dont play multiplayer at all and not interested in EA modules first couple of months.
-
Come on, still not fixed. Cant be serious.

This is something i would love to see in " dynamic camaign" . But that would mean i will see dynamic campaign. And that wont happen.

Ryzen advise for new system (budget)
Wexler replied to ebabil's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I would recommend 32GB RAM. Look on second hand buy - choose the ones that have lifetime warranty from manufacturer. -
New RTX 2080, very poor performance
Wexler replied to Wizard1393's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Sorry to hear that. (Especially when it worked in another PC) It is wise to upgrade whole computer at all to prevent some different generation bottlenecks and errors. It can be done by 2-3 steps to split the costs in half a year - like Motherboard with CPU and RAM and then graphic card. RTX 2080 probably cost same or more than the first step. Also taking opportunities to buy used goods like RAM which are lifetime warranted from factory is wise. (just look for the models supported by Motherbaord and look on product warranty on factory website). Next opportunity can be just released CPUs (ryzen gen.3) which will lot of youtubers buy and then sell as an unpacked goods. I did that with Ryzen gen. 2. Only thing i should not buy from second hand is used motherboard. Anyway I wish you best of luck with new one. -
New RTX 2080, very poor performance
Wexler replied to Wizard1393's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
You got me with that one. But nothing lasts forever, you can check. I would then bet my best chance on the firmware and updates of motherboard, as 2080 is exactly the graphic that did not exist in the age of your motherboard i guess. EDIT: And the golden rule - Read the manual (FAQ, Troubleshoting) even on website. I solved my problem with Oculus Rift S tracking lose when i read up on motherboard FAQ which thing to disable in bios. -

Do you have the power-in to graphic from Two dedicated cords ? I feel like one is malfunctioning, because that behaviour I would expect. The graphic should go on without power at all but only in such state that it merely output video. (I may not be correct with that one, but GPUs with one externail power in were like this) So far you did: 1) removed old drivers, installed new 2) Checked the BIOS (preference to PCIE card set, What about PCIE BUS? 4x / 8x / 16x) 3) Checked connection of the cables (I think that there is malfunction in one - I suggest to start the graphic withhout cables, with one, and than another to rule out malfunction of cable) I wouuld do next in your situation 1) Look deeply into driver settings for performance eco systems etc. Same with windows 2) Check the cables as I suggested 3) Chech for newest firmware on my motherboard and firmware it (set-up the bios again) 4) Update the motherboard drivers 5) Send here exactly what components you have your computer composed of. 6) Check the graphic in different computer - or get it checked in specialized shop 7) Blame myself to not be able to solve it alone or be happy to progress it for return for working one.
