in dcs there are around 12 threads doing work, 3 of them doing the most of it.
you’ll want at least a 4 core cpu. the faster the Mhz, the better.
i went with an i5 at 5.1Ghz

i get that people were exited but other than disappointment, nobody was put out, nobody lost money, nobody got hurt.

depending on settings, you can bring any GPU to its knees... in any game.
which implies, no game is ever cpu bound. you could run any slow bargain basement cpu and the 2080ti GPU will still be the “problem”
