  1. My thrustmaster warthog gives a very slight right roll input, so I needed to put a deadzone. For some reason, it's slightly more pronounced on the Hornet.
  2. Just my $0.02 - DCS is practically unenjoyable without headtracking. Once you get used to it, you'll wonder why it took you so long to get it.
  3. Going to have to disagree with you on that one.
  4. It's your prerogative whether to order new early access aircraft or not, but I'm getting tired of the "fix what I want or you're not getting more of my money" posts. I'd love to see if there's a spike in F16 sales after bug fix patches. I doubt it.
  5. Agreed. Remember the torches and pitchforks when the Hornet would bank with the wind? Speaking for myself, I rather they let patches cook a little longer in the oven to make sure nothing else got accidentally broken.
  6. Does ignoring engine inlet ice lead to any consequences?
  7. I thought ATC landing mode wasn't implemented yet?
  8. Let people enjoy things.
  9. I just avoid hoggit now - that whole place starts to foam at the mouth each time changes are made.
  10. edit - not sure if it's the image compression, but this plane looked very spray-canned.
  11. How much fuel do the CFTs add anyways?
  12. Does RALT or BALT appear on the left DDI? If not, it's not engaged.
  13. I notice my AI wingman often runs out of fuel quite early into a long mission. I'm not sure if there's any AI fuel management logic on any aircraft, but I've only noticed them ditching the aircraft due to fuel with the F14.
  14. Same issue with the CBU-105 on the A10C
  15. Just about every mission crashes for me. It's becoming unplayable.
  16. I just bought the mig21 recently, and so far none of the training missions have worked from start to finish.
  17. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it's fly-by-wire - the FCS is always in control.
  18. Thanks for this, helped me too! For some reason, sometimes my bombs fall quite short of target. I'm wondering if a strong headwind could cause this.
  19. If you press LCTRL + enter you will see what inputs are being sent to the aircraft. It's useful for troubleshooting controller issues.
  20. Same here. If it wasn't for the phoenix, I would rarely fly the tomcat. I just feel much more comfortable in the Hornet.
  21. I'm in the same boat. Not sure if it comes much easier with practice, but I'm all over the place with the reticle.
  22. Fantastic - I wish every aircraft had this option. Especially the KA50.
  23. Make sure you're actually at ground idle - if you land at flight idle it won't automatically go to ground idle. Pressing R-CTRL + Enter will show you actual throttle position. This helped my stopping distances.
