A mi con que un cohete HE o FRAG mate a una sección de infantería si cae en un radio de 50 metros de dicha sección me conformo. Ya pedir no tener que utilizar scripts para suprimirlos bajo el fuego si les cae una salva de artillería, unos cohetes o una ráfaga de cañón de 30mm sería la leche. Ahora mismo o les das en el ojo derecho con un cohete de 80 mm o la sección se ríe en tu cara mientras sigue disparando como si nada. Sólo de lo que tiembla el terreno con el impacto se te cae el fusil. Son funciones básicas de la IA que no existen. Radio de acción de una explosión con infantería. Supresión cuando están bajo el fuego, movimiento de retirada bajo el fuego de verdad, no cambiar de posición durante cinco segundos y volver a pararse. Son cosas muy básicas para la IA. No estamos pidiendo que se comporten como comandos de élite. Crear un menú con una seta como el del Hind para controlar la IA que está a tu alrededor desde cabina me parece bastante factible. Con una seta escoger la unidad IA de la lista y poder darle órdenes como avanzar-rumbo, parar, disparar o dejar de disparar no es pedir demasiado. Sólo con eso utilizar helicópteros en combinación con las unidades de tierra cambiaría completamente.

Gracias por este fantástico mod para DCS, es una auténtica maravilla y de una enorme calidad. Se merece estar dentro del core de del simulador. -
The ghosting is not Mustang´s mod fault. Is a DCS core fault over water. It can be reduced somewhat with less cloud reflections over water but is still there, specially if you zoom in and out the view very quick, but as i´ve said, is not Mustang´s mod fault

Scripts are the way to go for rich enviroment missions. Is tedious as f*** to learn from scratch but worth every minute invested in learning Moose, CTLD, MIST, etc. Even a a virtual squad mate was making some scripts by himself. I really love one that makes a unit of your choice to act as a FAC on the ground lasing units at your choice, marking with smoke, giving coordinates of the targets, is very fun to use.

I can´t open the mission Spaz. I dont have the EA-6B mod and the link for the latest version is not available anymore. PD: Ok Spaz, i´ve found the problem. The CVN-71 is part of a naval group of 4 ships BUT, the Carrier is the number 2 in the group order, and it should be the number one. The Arleight Burke behind the Carrier is the number one and is exactly 2.1 NM from the Carrier. That means the TCN ON THE CARRIER DECK is pointing to the first ship on the group, the Destroyer at 2.1 NM instead of the Carrier. Just edit the mission to make the Carrier the NUMBER 1 on the naval group and it should work. This is your mission with a quick modification and the Carrier beeing the number 1 in the Group. TCN marking 0.0 NM as it should on the deck. Spaz Causacaus CVN71 CQs-EDITED.miz

If you want, add the mision file here and i will take a look. You have a very simple one attached to test, is working fine for me, TCN following the carrier. TACAN TEST T-45.miz

I've found that issue before and the fix is very simple. The Carrier first WP should have always speed edited on It. If the WP 0 has a zero speed value and the next WP is for example 25 knots, then the TACAN did not follow the Carrier movement. Just edit WP 0 to have same speed as the next one an the TACAN will follow the Carrier.

For me is a very good change, tunning down the clouds reflection over water. Its a little overdone and in my case with the sun low ( when the shadows are more colored and longer ) im seeing some banding-ghosting effects when zooming in and out fast ( Track Ir ). Lowering the reflectivity make this effect dissappear. One question, what is the value you are editing for clouds shading tunning over water? What file? I want to try just a little more reflectivity. 0.95 is great but maybe to much tunned down for my own taste. Thanks a lot for your continuous tunning.

As far as i know you can do it either on the ground or up in the air. Distance doesnt matter if you have a solid lock with good contrast to use.

Yes, same here. Im quite sure adding the VTB Mephisto cause a conflict between the mod and DCS, preventing from starting. -

I have a problem with the T-45 TACAN, tested only on DCS 2.7 No matter the Carrier im using, Stennis or any of the Super Carriers, the TACAN im adjusting in the mission editor is not following the ship with the T-45. I mean, the same mission with the same TACAN setting, if i place a Hornet or a Tomcat, the TACAN follows the ship movement and stays at 0.0 distance. When in the same mission im using the T-45, the TACAN stays fixed in the initial position of the carrier, not following it, so the distance is increasing. Is very strange because the stock missions provided with the mod the problem is not present, the TACAN follows the ship. Im reproducing that mission exactly but always the TACAN when using the T-45 remains static, not following the ship. Any advice? Thanks.
