I'm sure this is asked all the time and I hate to ask it again. I wanted to share my ME templates with a fellow creator and I can't find them. I looked in C:\Users\myname\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta and C:\Users\myname\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\MissionEditor and they are there. Can someone point me to the right directory please? Okay guys what am I missing. When I click on the install button the game closes and acts like it's going to d/l but nothing ever pops up showing the download. The patch d/l fine? Help?

As an FYI, they are still buggy in MP missions. I created a mission and sometimes clients could see them and sometimes they see them but the train doesn't move. Also, I tried to trigger smoke markers as the train passed into the zone and that didn't work either. Looking forward to seeing them work!

Hi guys, I recently did a big upgrade on my video card going from a 2080TI to a 3080TI. Here's what I am running into. First off I only play in VR. I have the latest HP-Reverb 2 with the latest firmware. All my HW is under 1 yr old and I run all the latest Nvidia drivers. 95% of the time when I first get in a mission either MP or SP makes no difference. I am getting 50+ FPS. If I jump from one aircraft slot to another the FPS can drop as low at 15 to 20. This also can happen when I launch a mission from the editor and then go back to the main menu and then back to into a mission the FPS often drops to 15 to 20. The only way I have been able to get it back up to normal is by opening "Task Manager" and then close it. This action somehow often bring my FPS performance back to 50+, not not every time. Sometimes it can take a few times of doing that. So here is what I have done so far. I have the luxury of being able to test several video cards. A 3070TI, 1080TI, 2080TI, and 3080TI. What I have gathered so far is that it is only happening on 3000 series cards. I have validated this through hours of swapping out of cards and going in and out of the game. What has become clear is that it never happens on a 1000 or 2000 series card. It does however happen consistently on the two different 3000 series cards I have tired, both from different manufactures. MSI 3070 TI and the ZoTAC 3080TI. Can someone from the technical side of the DCS's house confirm what I am seeing and tell me it's being addressed? I can't be the only one seeing this. I have absolutely validated this issue with 4 different Nvidia video cards from each generation of card. 1080 TI and 2080 TI no issues, the FPS stays high no matter what I do. The 3070TI and 3080TI both suffer from this drop in FPS. Here are my HW Specs: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz Installed RAM 32.0 GB System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Edition Windows 10 Pro Version 21H1 Installed on ‎6/‎20/‎2021 OS build 19043.1165 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0

Sure it is. Probably the easiest way is to do this is to have the AI condition at weapons hold and then when they hit a particular waypoint have them go weapons free. Other ways to do it is with flags using a trigger or other condition.

I have created a couple missions that I wanted to use the picture pop up feature but I can only get it to work in SP not MP. Is this as designed, or is it a bug? Anyone else run into this?

I build a lot of missions and got all excited when I found the picture pop up feature, then I discovered that it only works in SP not MP. I'm guessing it's a bug. I tired it again after the latest patch and it still only works in SP.

Hi guys, I'm in the same sucky performance boat with you guys, what exactly have you adjusted that made it better?

When I create missions I always create three variants Day, Night, and Weather. It would be great to be able to view how bright or dark the mission is going to be while still in the mission editor and not have start, stop, adjust, and restart over and over till I get the TOD and Weather effects I want at the start of the mission. I suggest you tie this to the same menu area as the TOD and clouds are now. This would keep me from having to make a change, run the mission, then stop the mission, make another adjustment on the TOD, then run the mission over and over till I get the look the way I want it.

Yikes, sounds like some serious optimization needs to happen on this map.
