  1. Are your switches on the Collective moving (in the sim)?
  2. Looks great! Boy, I need to get busy again...
  3. Reach behind if you can and verify the on/off button is seated. I had the same thing happen on my brand-new system and that is all it was.
  4. Don't fly so fast. Actually, it IS the curves and controller setup that make the Ka-50 fly smoothly.
  5. :) good pics. I've yet to safely land a clinging pilot. They always seem to fall off. In Aries's photo, I saw him flying down a runway and I started to follow in hopes of some formation flight. As I got close, I saw his rotors separate and he ejected. I banked to the right to go around the pattern and I guess I skewered him while he was bailing out.
  6. There are many great pits here but I rank yours as my all-time favorite. :)
  7. Hello, One of these days I do plan to try old BS again. A lot of people use TeamSpeak 3 for voice comms.
  8. Hello, Odd problem and I hope you get it figured out. When you say "LAN" you are referring to "Options" settings? Anything notable about your network hardware? All Firewalls letting DCS through? If you Go Start/Programs/ED/DCS/Repair or update, nothing changes? I think you need to be specific when providing info as it may be easy to miss something. I hope a network whiz will be along to help out. Good luck.
  9. You'll have to read the documentation that comes with the card. Windows can show a maximum of 32 buttons, even if there are more.
  10. I don't think it has been added as a vehicle yet in the TFS software. The G force effect is lessened in Helo's as they run at lower RPM's (from what I have found).
  11. I think you may need to supply your R-828.lua to your squad mates that will be using your mission if it is that important. Just save the file in the proper folders and it is JGSME ready.
  12. function Load_ADF_State() local f1 = load_mission_file(Scripts/Aircrafts/ka-50/Cockpit/ARK/ARK.lua") if not f1 then f1 = copy_to_mission_and_get_buffer(LockOn_Options.script_path.."ARK/ARK.lua") end if f1 ~= nil then setfenv(f1,getfenv(airdrome_homer)) f1() end end Above are the lines that check for an pre-loaded ARK.lua file. These are found in ...\device specs\ark.lua file. My guess is the R-828 would need a similar setup for it to be added to a miz file and usable.
  13. Ka-50 uses little blue lights placed around the cockpit for night and backlighting for day. I always darken the room when I fly, so it is always night lighting for me. I purchased some blue LED lamps that are used for customizing cars or what ever, but they each burned out in time and I have to make some new ones. They were wired in parallel. If you are running a lot of lamps, you need to use a separate larger power source and possibly a relay so your cockpit switch will toggle them. When are you going to fly?? :)
  14. It's like I impaled you :)
  15. if you need a deadzone on a non centering axis, you are not calibrated correctly.
  16. Hello, You did calibrate them in Windows? Just checking. I sometimes need to calibrate more than once for best response (I have 13 axis)
  17. We all know about Helios. We are asking for variables that can be used, like UV-26 display numbers, ect. DCS does not allow it for all the variables, only some of them.
  18. You need WinRAR or WinZip or any utility that can open zip files.
  19. I've only done it with BS, but I just created labels and dragged the binding to them. Numeric to text, ignore the warning it gives you.
  20. It would be DFS then, no? please, just fix the bugs.
  21. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=101083 found it. These help me a lot. I use JGSME so it is easy to install/remove (though I just backup the original graphics.cfg). Your biggest FPS killer would be mirrors, so turn them off if they are on.
  22. There are FPS tweaks that can help. Those slowdowns are 100% DCS's fault.
  23. Just click on your name where it says "Welcome xxxxxxx" and it will show all the folks that sent good or bad rep.
  24. All you need for breakouts is the socket itself. You can easily solder ribbon cable to it and it only will cost you 30 cents or so per breakout. It is a lot easier to wire when you put the diodes of the switches too. It is great fun to put things together, but a simple wire job will work just as well as a complicated setup for a cockpit. Ribbon cable is the only way to go when you have a lot of switches. I have hundreds and hundreds of them.
  25. 320.39 was leaked version in the first post. I did not try out the .49 version. No, bios or board updates.
